AaronJB
Unfortunately, based upon the amenities and with no tripadvisor rating in the listing, this could be possibly either a match for the Westin or Sheraton. If you do decide to book this property, please use the site's HOTWIRE link (click the HOTWIRE) to start your purchase, and let us know how it goes/if you have any questions. Link to comment
luvmaui
Since I have six months, I might hang on a little longer and see what pops up. However, a Friday one night stay right at cruise season in Seattle might prove tricky! Link to comment
Colfax
What about trying for a 4* on Priceline? It's possible you could get a 4* for significantly less than $166. Paying extra on Hotwire makes sense when you know what you're getting. But when the Hotwire hotel can't be identified I don't see any advantage to Hotwire over Priceline. Link to comment
luvmaui
That's something I had considered. There are three of us and you cannot always get two beds with Priceline. That's the only problem. Link to comment
Colfax
You wrote there were 2 adults/1 child in your first post. Sorry I missed that. Needing two beds is a good reason to choose Hotwire over Priceline.Hotwire has a 3.5* with two beds for $159. The icons are the same as the 4* hotel. No TripAdvisor stats are given. The Crowne Plaza has been reported with those icons in the past and it shows in Vacation Packages with those icons for your weekend. Would the Crowne Plaza work for you? Link to comment
luvmaui
It would. In fact, I'm not all that picky about where we stay in that area. Just thought it would be fun to be near the market for that one night. I once stayed in the Westin and that view of the Space Needle with fog rolling in and over it was pretty phenomenal. The rack rates for all of those Pike Place area hotels seem to be about $250. so Hotwire does offer a nice discount. Link to comment
Colfax
We'll be interested to hear what you ultimately decide. Let us know if we can be of further help. You've got plenty of time if you want to wait a month and see if the 4* icons change in a way that makes the hotel easier to ID. Link to comment
luvmaui
Just an update:Same amenities now showing for $10. less, plus they've added a rating of 4 out of 5 with 300+ reviews on Tripadvisor. This makes it look like the Sheraton... Link to comment
