TheNewChico
Tried bidding up to $130 for a 4* hotel in Cambridge, check in on 6/7, check out on 6/11.Bid History:Cambridge - $60Cambridge + Chestnut Hill - $70Cambridge + Medford/Somerville (New Bid) - $80Cambridge + South Boston (New Bid) - $90Cambridge + South Boston + Chestnut Hill - $100Cambridge + Chestnut Hill + Medford/Somerville (New Bid) - $110Cambridge + Medford/Somerville + South Boston (New Bid) - $120Cambridge + Medford/Somerville + South Boston + Chestnut Hill - $130Lowest price for the Hotel Marlowe (only known 4* hotel in Cambridge) was $249 per their website. $130 is pretty much my upper limit, since we have cancellable $150 Hampton Inn reservations and the Hotel Marlowe charges $20 nightly for parking. I don't wish to stay any further out in Boston nor do I want to take the risk on the 3*s, so I'll try again in 72 hours. Link to comment

smiles3usa
The Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, I believe, is listed as a 3* hotel. I think it is underrated--beautiful facility. And definitely superior to the Hampton Inn--better location, facility and close to town (boston is just across the bridge!) Keep in mind that several high school graduations are around your dates, and many folks will be coming to town to see their relatives (nieces, nephews, grandchildren) graduate. While I don't want to dissuade you from your preferences, I would suggest that you look at the 3* hotel in Cambridge, at least I know the Hyatt is a very nice hotel.Good luck in your search.
