Paradiso
Please help me choose the best area for a 4 day stay in San Francisco. We would like to be somewhere where it is enjoyable to walk in the early evening, with fewer possibilities of being harassed. The last time I was there, I was too close to the downtown area. We will not be renting a car this time, so it should be near public transport. Any recommendations for 4* hotels would be great. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
Paradiso
I got 2 nights in the beginning of September at the Hyatt Regency for 90+tax. But I also have to book two additional nights, 10 days later. I got my bids up to $110 til I was closed out, after using up all my options. Advice and comments please. Link to comment
Paradiso
Sorry, I posted too quickly, and am in the wrong forum. I got this on Priceline. My first bid was $80 and I jacked it up to $90. The total is $117. The strange thing is, when I bid $80, I was given a counteroffer of $102. But when I had to bid for different days, my bid for $110 was rejected. Now I am closed out, with no counteroffers in sight. Link to comment
GM Mike
I'm sorry, I'm not sure I quite understand. Could you please list for us:1) The check in and check out dates for the stay you already won2) The winning bid3) The winning zone4) The last bid you made before your winning bid. Then, could you please start a NEW topic for the new stay you're looking for? We prefer to keep threads on separate stays in separate topics. When you start the new thread, please tell us exactly which zones you're interested in - or give us a more detailed picture of what you do and do not like in an area and we can make suggestions. Also give us the maximum bid amount you're willing to make, the precise check in and out dates, and the minimum star (quality) level you will accept.Thanks. Link to comment
