  1. I searched on Vail using BiddingHelper.  Dates are 6/27/2015 - 7/3/2015.  I found a 3.5 Lionshead Condo for $200/nt.  Any ideas what it might be?

FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Resort, Slopeside, 1-bedroom suite, Full kitchen, Smoke-free rooms, Daily housekeeping, Air conditioning, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Front desk, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby

  2. I was bidding on MCO area in Priceline, and started with the MCO zone at $59 for 3.5 stars.  Bid denied, but offered a room for $73.  Thought I would try one more time...

Added Kissimmee zone thinking there was nothing above 2 stars, and upped the bid to $60.  I ended up matching to this Kissimmee resort (not what I wanted).  This does not look like a 3.5 star resort, and gets very mixed reviews on Trip Advisor.  Not a good gamble on my part.  :(

You'll want to add this to your Kissimmee Priceline list.  Others might try what I did and be unpleasantly surprised.

Used the Priceline link on your site.

  3. Used the link for Bidding.helper to start the research. Thought I had Hyatt Huntington Beach with the amenities listed, so feel a little duped. Not a bad price but could have done close to this through other sites with an option to cancel the reservation. Here are the amenities listed through Biddinghelper:

Resort, Pet friendly, Near Beach, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Tennis Nearby

Through the Hotwire.com site, it had 100% approval, which led me to believe it was the Hyatt. Bummer, but hopefully the stay will be good.

  4. Used PRICELINE link through this site.

Tried bidding $45,$50,$55 using FLL Airport south, FLL Downtown, and FLL Airport North. I gave up because checking availability through other sites, I knew it would be tough. Priceline offered $76 for the Express Deal. After some research, I knew it was the Hyatt Place at the Convention Center. Exactly the hotel I wanted, with free airport shuttle and breakfast. The on-line price through Hyatt Place directly was $155 for pre-paid room. Thought $76 was a bargain!

  5. Yes -- thinking it is either Limelight or The Sky Hotel, but cannot tell for certain. If it is The Sky it is not a good deal:

    Boutique Hotel

    Slopeside

    Airport Shuttle

    Fitness Center

    Pool(s)

    Restaurant(s)

    Business Center

    High-Speed Internet Access

    Golf Nearby

    Tennis Nearby

    Accessible for the blind

    Accessible path of travel

    In-room accessibility

    Accessible bathroom

    Handicapped parking

    Roll-in shower

  6. I knew this weekend would be tough - Reds/Cardinals playing - so downtown was out of the question.

Started low bid downtown, though, because you never know what might be available.

    $47 Cincinnati Downtown - 4*

    $50 + Riverfront

    $55 + Blue Ash 3*

    $60 + Kings Island

    $65 + Florence

Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $65.00 (USD)

    Number of Rooms: 1

Number of Guests Per Room: 2

    Number of Nights: 2

    Room Subtotal: $130.00 (USD)

    Taxes and Fees: $28.80 (USD)

    Total Room Cost: $158.80 (USD)

Courtyard gets mixed reviews, but with not much available in Cincinnati this weekend, I'll take it!
