  1. I searched on Vail using BiddingHelper. Dates are 6/27/2015 - 7/3/2015. I found a 3.5 Lionshead Condo for $200/nt. Any ideas what it might be? FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Resort, Slopeside, 1-bedroom suite, Full kitchen, Smoke-free rooms, Daily housekeeping, Air conditioning, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Front desk, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby
  2. I was bidding on MCO area in Priceline, and started with the MCO zone at $59 for 3.5 stars. Bid denied, but offered a room for $73. Thought I would try one more time... Added Kissimmee zone thinking there was nothing above 2 stars, and upped the bid to $60. I ended up matching to this Kissimmee resort (not what I wanted). This does not look like a 3.5 star resort, and gets very mixed reviews on Trip Advisor. Not a good gamble on my part. :( You'll want to add this to your Kissimmee Priceline list. Others might try what I did and be unpleasantly surprised. Used the Priceline link on your site.
  3. Used the link for Bidding.helper to start the research. Thought I had Hyatt Huntington Beach with the amenities listed, so feel a little duped. Not a bad price but could have done close to this through other sites with an option to cancel the reservation. Here are the amenities listed through Biddinghelper: Resort, Pet friendly, Near Beach, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Tennis Nearby Through the Hotwire.com site, it had 100% approval, which led me to believe it was the Hyatt. Bummer, but hopefully the stay will be good.
  4. Used PRICELINE link through this site. Tried bidding $45,$50,$55 using FLL Airport south, FLL Downtown, and FLL Airport North. I gave up because checking availability through other sites, I knew it would be tough. Priceline offered $76 for the Express Deal. After some research, I knew it was the Hyatt Place at the Convention Center. Exactly the hotel I wanted, with free airport shuttle and breakfast. The on-line price through Hyatt Place directly was $155 for pre-paid room. Thought $76 was a bargain!
  5. Started with the PRICELINE link here. :) First bid was $45 for 3* Kansas City (Airport South) Second bid was $50 adding Kansas City North Third bid was $55 adding Kansas City Crown Center Won Hyatt Place, with taxes/fees it was $72.38. Saved 50%!
  6. Not going to risk it if you think it may be The Sky. Kimpton is running a special right now where the same room would cost me $168 at The Sky Hotel. I'll book directly with the hotel. Sometimes Hotwire/Priceline are not the best deals. Thank you!
  7. Yes -- thinking it is either Limelight or The Sky Hotel, but cannot tell for certain. If it is The Sky it is not a good deal: Boutique Hotel Slopeside Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Accessible for the blind Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower
  8. I placed a search through the HOTWIRE link on Betterbidding. Dates of the search was 6/18/2012 - 6/19/2012 for 2 adults and 1 child. Hotel win is a "Super Savings" for $207 (other sites $341). 100% recommended in Hotwire reviews. Amenities include:Boutique Hotel, Slopeside, Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pool(s), roll in shower. Could it be the Sky?
  9. Used PRICELINE link on this site... First bid: 3.5 Stars Denver West - $55 Second bid: Added Evergreen and went up to $58 Third bid: Added Denver Tech Center South and bid $56 Won on the third bid. Hotel site shows $104 for the same night, so nearly half off.
  10. I knew this weekend would be tough - Reds/Cardinals playing - so downtown was out of the question. Started low bid downtown, though, because you never know what might be available. $47 Cincinnati Downtown - 4* $50 + Riverfront $55 + Blue Ash 3* $60 + Kings Island $65 + Florence Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $65.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 2 Room Subtotal: $130.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $28.80 (USD) Total Room Cost: $158.80 (USD) Courtyard gets mixed reviews, but with not much available in Cincinnati this weekend, I'll take it!
  11. Think this is a great hotel for the price. Didn't want to stay at Double Tree through Priceline (seems like that's where most of the winning bids through Priceline were.) Amenities Complimentary Breakfast Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service)
