I haven't purchased a Priceline Express before but I know that you guys are helpful at trying to give a good guess at what a location may be. I see, on October 27 for one night, a 4.5 Express hotel for $166. Amenities include: Bed Choice, Business Center, Fitness Center, Non Smoking, Pets Allowed, Restaurant, Swimming Pool Any ideas? Thank you Aaron JB! We book pretty much all of our Florida vacations through Priceline, and have always had great success. We haven't spent more than $150/night and have stayed at The W, Hyatt Pier 66, The B and one other. We like to stay on the beach, as opposed to in town, as we won't be renting a car this time. To conclude this thread ~ We actually ended up booking directly through the hotel ONLY because we were going along with a big group and they booked a section of rooms.

We will be needing a room for one night at the end of October. We would like to stay on the beach at Fort Lauderdale. What is the best time to start bidding for a stay that is still 8 months away?

Thank you Yellow Dog ~ Looking at your website it looks like Country Inn and Suites is actually the only 2 1/2 star hotel listed, and it is the same on TripAdvisor's website as well. So I am thinking that we should be safe with this one. I will let you know :)

Oh no, I apologize.... I only changed threads because it was a PRICELINE quote I saw this time, as opposed to a HOTWIRE quote..... therefore I thought/assumed it should be on the PL page.

Thanks ~ I will most likely book through the hotel BUT will keep looking at HOTWIRE (through your link) to see if there is a chance that the hotel our family is staying at shows up as a likely scenario for a deal.

Yes, you are correct ~ As I scroll down I see it is actually under the heading of 'Cocoa Area Hotel'. When I click on the 'see hotels in this class' link I see both Country Inn and Suites and Holiday Inn and Suites Express Hotels as possibilities. So, that being the case ~ are you feeling certain that it is not Country Inn and Suites? The amenities do seem to match up, but do they match up more with Holiday Inn and Suites? Thank you for your help!

Thank you for your assistance ~ I wasn't able to get the deal I was looking at and ended up booking directly through the hotel for this trip. However, I have had GREAT success with Priceline in the past and am planning to use either HOTWIRE or PRICELINE on future vacations!!

We are going to Cape Canaveral in October and our friends and family have booked rooms at the Country Inn and Suites. Just for fun, I looked at HOTWIRE for deals during the days we will be there (Oct. 11 & 12) and found, what I believe to be, that Country Inn and Suites is a HOTWIRE Deal for $79. Can anyone help confirm this?

I need to book a last minute trip to Fort Lauderdale and there are hardly any decent hotels left for the dates we are going (April 4 & 5). I found this deal and am wondering if anyone has an idea what hotel it may be? I am looking at the Hotwire Hotel List for Fort Lauderdale and can't seem to find one that matches. I have seen people ask for assistance with identifying an 'Express Deal' and then helpful people giving them suggestions on the most likely hotel that would fit the description. I am wondering how you all figure this out? We just found out that we are staying 2 days pre-cruise in Fort Lauderdale on 4/5 and 4/6 and see a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for a 3 Star Hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach going for $106 per night. Sounds like a FANTASTIC deal, but am a bit leary at that low of a price. The amenities shown are: indoor or outdoor pool, business center, and bed choice available. Should I assume that those are the only amenities? Any assistance would be very appreciated. Thank you :)
