  1. I think this is what you mean? Amenities: Free parking, Free Internet, Indoor pool(s), Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Tennis nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower.
  2. Sept 8-12 Atlanta Perimeter area Crowne Plaza Hotel Atlanta-Ravinia Amenities: Free parking, Free Internet, Indoor pool(s), Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Tennis nearby, blind access $68 per night, with tax comes out to about $85. Under the Better Bidding Hotel List, this hotel is 4 stars but on HOTWIRE it appears as 3.5.
  3. sorry there is a section I missed out: Accessibility In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Accessible parking Roll in shower Amenities above: Free parking Free Internet Smoke-free rooms Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Self-service laundry Internet Access
  4. Free parking Free Internet Smoke-free rooms Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Self-service laundry Internet Access
  5. Free Parking Free Internet Pet friendly Boutique Hotel Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Self service laundry Internet access According to the reviews on Tripadvisor, this used to be the W. It's the only 4 star hotel on your list, so your info is spot on, though you may want to update your list to make the two choices one and the same. The hotel seems to get excellent reviews on Tripadvisor, w a 90% satisfaction rate so pretty happy about it.
  6. Free Parking Free Internet Pet friendly Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Internet access A bit bummed that we didn't get to stay in Hilton which we loved, but that's a great price for Napa/Sonoma area. More $ for our wines!
  7. Ops... I always forget one thing or the other. It's for this weekend. May 1-2.
  8. Just booked my reservation. 3.5* Tampa Downtown Fitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterHigh-speed Internet Access turns out to be Sheraton Tampa Riverwalk Hotel. Interestingly when I looked at the list: 3.5* Sheraton Riverwalk Amenities: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business 3.5* Westin Amenities: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business When I was bidding, hotwire has a 4* with smoke free for $69 and a 3.5* without the smoke free (all other amenities equal) for $63. So I thought the 4* is Sheraton and the 3.5* Westin. As we prefer the Westin, we picked the 3.5* one. So it was a bit of a surprise, though not unpleasant, to end up with SHeraton.
  9. Sorry I forgot. Staying 12/23- 12/25. According to tripadvisor, the hotel is not quite worthy of 4 stars but price is still great. Also, hotwire has Lake Buena Vista and Disney Downtown as one area and Kissimmee as another, but Priceline lumps them as one area. As we do not want to stay in Kissimmee (hubby thinks the hotels are older there) we usually book our Orlando stays via HOTWIRE.
  10. My reservation is slightly different, I want to book that hotel too but the deal seems to be gone already. I just booked mine for $51, 4 stars, and w fitness, pool, restaurant, business center, high speed internet access, laundry and golf, it turned out to be the Rosen Centre Hotel. It has got half a star less but saves me $35 per night. Not bad a deal! :)
  11. 3* for $59 ($72 incl tax) Amenities pool, fitness center and tennis court I don't believe this property is on the list yet, but turns out to be Celebrity Resorts. Just checked tripadvisor, and looks like the review is rather bad, and it's more a motel-grade location. Well, we are only staying a night... I hope it's not as bad as some reviewers said, if so it would be one of the few times we don't consider ourselves getting a great value.
  12. Booked a room in Brentwood area, three stars, Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness Center, Business Center, Laundry Facilities, High-speed Internet Access. $67 for March 14. THis hotel did not appear in the listing so I figure you may be interested to add it in.
  13. Booked it for 12/25-12/27. First we tried booking a hotel at Hotwire, where the best deal is $49 for a Clarion. After reading the forum here, we decide to try bidding on Priceline. First offer $38, Disney area only, rejected; $40, added Universal area, accepted. Will report on the hotel! :)
  14. Just booked one night at a 3-star hotel in Westshore - Tampa Intl Airport TPA - South Tampa, customer favorite. Amenities: shuttle, pool, biz ctr, restaurant, fitness center. Travel date 4/29-30. Ends up in Doubletree at W Cypress Rd.
  15. okay. I didn't know that there was a reply waiting for response. Anyway, I booked the Atlanta hotel already. $46 for a 2 1/2 star. Two of the reservations landed us in Holiday Inn Express at Gwinnette Mall. (Expedia price $ 56, so it wasn't too great of a deal) Another one for 4 rooms went to Amerisuite at Gwinnett Mall. (Expedia price $65) For both, only amenity is complimentary breakfast. Our travel date is 9/9-9/11, and we booked it last Thursday. ie., a week before travel. Crystal
  16. It has Kitchenette and Laundry facilities. No breakfast included but there are lots of restaurants around that area. It's right off the highway and very convenient. Azuki
  17. Hi when I search in Duluth (north Atlanta), I got the following: *** - restaurant, pool, hi speed internet, business ctr, laundry ** 1/2 - complimentary breakfast ** - kitchenette, laundry Any idea what they are? TIA! Azuki
  18. Just got four rooms in Tampa Brandon for $34. It turns out to be Homestead Suite. I thought it would be Baymont as this is what is listed in this forum. Anyway, when I check the price at Orbitz, Expedia and Homestead's homesite, the rooms go for $70 or more. Interestingly, if I enter more than 2 person per room, this hotel will not show up. And if I book only three rooms, the rate goes up to $36. I don't know if this is well known or not, but I found out that by changing the number of people in the rooms, I get different hotels and for the same hotel, different rates. (i have two or three windows open at the same time for comparison) You may try doing so to see what gets you the best rate. Afterall, I've never been to a hotel where they actually check how many people are actually staying. Happy Bidding! Azuki
  19. In Brendon or downtown. I will go w 2* and then if it fails, up it to 3*. Azuki
  20. Hi. Has anything recently bidded a 2 or 3 stars hotel in Tampa area? What is the best bid so far? We are staying 4/22 - 4/24. Thanks, Azuki
