  1. Very good idea about the two hotel rooms! I think I will do just that. Thank you
  2. I am thinking of having a "low key" pool party for my daughter and 4 of her friends to celebrat the end of the school year. My plan is to book a resort type hotel in the Orange County area then invite my daughter and 4 of her friends (ages 6 and 7) to come over and spend the day at the pool. Nothing crazy just a pool day. I would love something with a cabana but I'm not picky. Do you think this would be possible using priceline? Only myself and my daughter would actualy be spending the night...everyone else will be leave at night. I'm thinking a larger hotel/resort might not notice. Thoughts?

  4. We just booked the same hotel for the EXACT same dates (see my booking) but you got it for $7 less....LUCKY lol. I was hoping for the Hyatt but I'm happy either way!
  5. Wanted a nice place to hang out with my daughter for her birhday this weekend (Shes turing 6 tomorrow)! First bid $89 and they came back with a counter offer for $118. I choose to rebid and include another area I knew that did not offer 4* hotels (Seal Beach) then upped my bid to $98. Bit was accepted for a total $118.88 including taxes. Great deal considering the hotel is going for $189 plus tax right now! I'm happy :)
  6. First time using Hotwire (I usually use Priceline) and I loved it. Scored the Holiday Inn Express for $58 ($70.27) with taxes. Easiest check in/out ever! Plus they had a full FREE breakfast (eggs, bacon, biscuit and gravy, pancakes, waffles etc). That alone made it worth it. We booked it because I decided on a last minute trip to Legoland on Christmas day so needless to say I was happy with the rate since I expected to pay much more. Room was very clean. It was a one bedroom with living room, full walk in closet. Free parking, outdoor pool. It was about 15 minutes to lego with easy access to freeway. I would stay her again in a heart beat!
  7. After reading what everyone else paid for this hotel $44-$50 per night I feel like I way over payed considering it was a weekday BUT, I really wanted to try this hotel out and it was located less then a 2 min drive from where I needed to be in the morning. Spent time in the jacuzzie, bar and ordered room service. All wonderful. I would stay here again for sure but not at the price I paid.
  8. This is my third time staying at this hotel and I love it. Rooms are always nice and clean, staff and very friendly and accommodating. I usually need to stay in a hotel in the Long Beach area 2-3 times a month. Priceline is perfect for this. I have had people say that the area is not the greatest but to be honest I have never felt uncomfortable or unsafe in this area and I always check in late (ie after 10pm). Lots of free parking which is a plus. Anyone know if you can earn points though the hilton if booked using priceline? That would be awesome :)
  9. 3.5* Long Beach Hilton $55 ... 11/19/10-11/20/10 Really happy about this. This was my first time using PRICELINE. I thought I would give it a try and I have to say I was VERY happy with what was given to me. Hotel was nice and clean, staff was wonderful. Will use PRICELINE again for sure!
