I wanted to extend this stay for 10/10/12-10/11/12 but Priceline's Express Deals don't give you that option. I used the PRICELINE link to see if I could get this hotel again. I was able to book it again using Express Deals for $58 rather than the $59 I previously got. Started with the PRICELINE link. I looked at the Express Deals for Birmingham and saw a 3* in Hoover for $47 with free breakfast, free parking, pool, etc. Compared to other hotels costing $124. I took too long and the offer went away. There was also a 3* for $59 in Inverness with the same amenities, but compared to hotels costing $99. I decided to take this deal rather than bidding since the price seemed fair based on what I saw on the wins board. Holiday Inn Evansville Airport 7101 Us Hwy 41 North, Evansville, IN 47725 Used PRICELINE to start. Saw a 3* on HOTWIRE for $66. Bid $57 for 3* in Evansville area and won. Maybe could have started lower and added Evansville North (2.5*) if needed. The amenities say there is a restaurant on-site, but the reviews suggest a free breakfast buffet.

Gave up on PRICELINE after bidding up to $66 for a 4* since I paid $70 for the Westin Perimeter last week and it did not include breakfast. I figured a 3* in Buckhead with free parking and free breakfast would be a change of pace. Used HOTWIRE link. I used the PRICELINE link to look for a hotel in Atlanta 8/29-8/31. I bid $55 for a 4* in Perimeter and was rejected, but given the chance to re-bid at $78. I've rejected this before and have seen others do the same and then go on and get a hotel for a lower price. How do you make the decision? I've already booked a cancellable room at the Comfort Suites by the airport as a backup since I have a flight on Friday. Their average for the 2 days is $75.60 per day using AAA.

I added 3* and bid $49 for Perimeter. That was rejected and I was offered a free re-bid at $69. Added zone 4 $51 Zone 9 $54 Zone 14 $56 Zone 1 (Buckhead) $57 Gave up and went to HOTWIRE and got the Hyatt Place Galleria in Smyrna-Vinings for $65. Thanks for your help.

I appreciate that, but I do like having a way to quickly, not through a series of 4 dropdowns, access the hotels wins from HOTWIRE or PRICELINE in an area. I may be wrong, but I think Hotel Wins are the most popular. Could you program the toolbar to have both interfaces?

I used those links again to book another stay with Extended Stay America North @ 4306 North Brandywine Dr for 8/14/12-8/16/12. Cost is $59.84 per night with AAA plus I get a $10 discount after checkout for signing up for their emails. The hotel is in the "A" area on HOTWIRE. They have a 2* for $46 (2.5/5 on tripadvisor) and a 1* for $57. The ESA North Peoria gets a 3.5/5 on tripadvisor.

I used the PRICELINE link to bid on a 3* in Springfield IL for 8/13/12 (Mon). Bids of $51 in Springfield and then $61 in South Springfield were both rejected. Does anyone have a better price I should use when I try again on Sunday? Springfield has always been tough and there may be something going on. I went ahead and booked the Holiday Inn Express at 3050 South Dirksen for $99 (ouch), but I have until Mon at 6PM to cancel. Thanks

I was disappointed that the same price was offered on Expedia and I could have receied Welcome Rewards. The room was nice enough, but the hotel was by the Tenderloin and I couldn't sleep due to conversations, I guess, by the homeless. Don't take room 314 if you want quiet at night. The Taylor Street Cafe next door was great for breakfast and don't worry if you see a long line to sit because they move it along.

I miss being able to quickly look at Hotwire and Priceline wins from the top right toolbar. I haven't used the site for a couple of weeks and was surprised by the change.

I ended up using HOTWIRE to book Hotel Mark Twain for 7/24 only (see that posting). We ended up renting an apartment for 7/25-7/30 for $190 per night. Thanks for your help.
