  1. Figured this had to be the Monaco, so we went ahead and used your HOTWIRE link and booked it there for $108/night for July 29th and got the $10 extra off using the BB promo code. Thanks! Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet
  2. Also, I tried bidding $89 for a 4 1/2 star property in the Convention Center/US Capitol North area and was rejected. Was just curious to see if it would get accepted.
  3. It shows the following: Pets Allowed Free Internet Business Center FItness Center Restaurant Non-Smoking Thanks!
  4. Priceline has a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for a 4.5* hotel in the Convention Center/US Capitol North district for $109 on Jul 29. It has an 8/10 guest rating. Any idea what it is? I don't see any 4.5* hotels on the list for that area. Thank you!!!
  5. First Priceline Name Your Own Price Bid accepted at $20/Day with Avis. Total cost for 3 days of $104.95. Based bid off of Costco price of $36/day before taxes and fees, but may have been able to start lower.
  6. Amenities: Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access.
  7. Booked the Epiphany at $154/night. 4* clearly labelled as Boutique to differentiate it from the Westin in the same zone.
  8. $60 was our first bid. Note that the Omni is obviously back to 4*.
  9. Started bidding at $120 for Upper Midtown/Central Park South 3*. Added Midtown West for $125. Had tried 4*s up to $170 for UM/CPS, MW (and Upper West and East sides which don't have 4*s) with no success
  10. I bid up to $150 for Downtown and Copley 4* today with no luck.
  11. I bid up to $150 in Downtown and Copley today with no luck for 10/6-10/9. The Marriott Copley shows $329 for that period.
  12. Just an update....I tried bidding up to $140 for 4* in the Copley area today with no success. Will continue to try some different bids as we get closer.
  13. We used your strategy for a 4*, but had no luck. According to someone who works at the Marriott Copely, there is a big convention in town that weekend. We are going to hold off a while before we dip down to 3* level and see if we have any luck later on the 4*'s. Thanks for your help.
  14. We arrive on 10/6, and leave on 10/9. The cheapest hotel in either area that we would probably stay at is priced at $199 (the new Clarion Bullfinch). So basically we are looking for a good 3 or 4* hotel for something less than that. I know that bids of $80 can be accepted for 4*'s at times, but I'm assuming that won't work with the prices running as high as they are. We'd probably be ecstatic if we got something for $120/night, but okay if it ended up being more than that as well since $199 appears to be our best option. Thanks in advance for your help!
  15. We need rooms over Columbus Day weekend. We would prefer to be in the Copley or Downtown areas. The prices listed on the hotel sites are very high for that weekend. Any tips on what we might be successful bidding for a 4* or 3*?
