Started at $140, used free re-bids in $20 increments, accepted at $200. Had tried couple times last wk w/o success. I've stayed here before (for $120 last time). Nice but a little old. Certainly better than any 3* I've stayed at. Better than the Waldorf, not as good as Omni Berkshire. Martin

OK...now you'll really think I'm going nuts...I checked at work, it was $30-40 more than last night. I check from home and it's back where it was. Conspiracy theory: a) they see me coming from a corporate-looking IP address and jack up the rates or :) they jack it up in the daytime, when people might be arranging work trips. I've won at $120 (not recently) at the Waldorf, Inter-Continental, and Omni Berkshire. Of all of them, I liked the Omni the best. Very nice at your price too. I'm trying for 4/1-3 and got snubbed up to $200. I'll try again in 72.

Strange thing is if I go to hotwire it shows 4.5* for $229 and 4* for $206. I've never used Hotwire. Used well-documented re-bid technique. Maybe it's just too far in advance (2 wks?). Advice?
