Correct. We won a priceline bid of $171 for 4 star hotel Pike Place for 8/26. The cruiers who stay in hotels there before/after cruises could also be taking up hotel availability.

Update, i used someone else's trick and went to $171 using the Lake Union area too. Got the Moncaco Seattle. Current Rate is $215

Looking for hotels in Downtown Pikes Peak area for a pre/post cruise stay. Have had failed bids up to $153.00 for both. Was told if I bid $193.00 I could bid right away rather than waiting. Any suggestions? I know 9/3 is a holiday weekend but this seems a little high
