  4. That's an awesome deal! I'm hoping to get this place for 1 night next month. What city & zone did you search under? How'd you know that the counter-offer of $101 was for this resort and not another resort (i.e. Deerhurst)? Such an amazing win! Thanks for posting and helping others, like me. I wouldn't even have thought of bidding for a resort like this!
  5. Posting previous wins. Used the PRICELINE link on this forum as well as the advice from experienced bidders. Thanks to all for the help on booking this great hotel.
  6. Posting previous wins. This was before I knew about this forum and before I even knew about the PRICELINE link on this page. Wish I'd known about this forum...probably could've won a better bid! 10. Posting previous wins. Very clean hotel, comfortable beds and great chocolate chip cookies. 11. Used the PRICELINE link on this forum (as always!) :) Been bidding for a few days, usually start at $60 and still didn't get accepted even when bids reached $100. Wanted a 4* in downtown since only staying for 2 days. This time, started the bidding at $75 and got request to counter-bid at $101. Rebid at $80, then $85. Last rebid won at $88 (based on recommendations from this forum). Very happy with this hotel and can't wait to visit!!! This has been such a great forum and I'm so glad it's around!
  12. Used the PRICELINE link here. (Sorry, I don't know how to insert the actual link in this post!) First bid for $9/day for an Economy. Not accepted, but was counter-offered with varying rates for different car types / rental agencies at the airport. Picked the lowest one for $12/day with Enterprise for an Economy, with unlimited mileage. Actual rate when I went through the confirmation was $12.78/day plus taxes and fees. Total came up to $36 for the 2 days, including all taxes and fees. Very happy with this rate, as its better than anything else I could find elsewhere, including Enterprise's own website.
  13. 25 bids before the winning bid. Used the PRICELINE link & followed tips from this site. Was determined to get a 4* in downtown Vancouver, had flexible dates. First tried $85 for 4* Downtown Vancouver for 8/6/11 - 8/7/11. Added zones & increased bids incrementally. Still no deal at $115 / nite. Changed date and got the hotel I wanted. Thanks for all the tips on this forum!
