Thanks for that. Still unsure whether are going ot NYC via Tampa/Orlando or via DC. Leaning towards Florida if we can get cheap flights. I'm going to post another Orlando hotel - I'll use a new thread, but will close both off after we have booked.

Thanks - Guessed right on the 4.5*, but saw a few bad reviews there of late. We've used you guys to help us book a priceline hotel in Dallas. After there, we are either going New Orleans, Tampa, then fly to NYC to get home to UK, or Memphis, Nashville, DC, then NYC. Would prefer DC, again, however, we are struggling to get Palomar for 3/9 to 5/9, so it may be NO, Tampa - I'll defo revert.

I've used Hotwire for three years now. We're a family of two adults and four teenagers. Always put down two rooms, + 2 adults & four children. Always had enough beds in the rooms. Had some great wins too, including Inter-Continental in Boston two years ago for $70 per room per night, and Sheraton Towers in Toronto for $48. This year we've mixed it up with Priceline. However, until we have seen the room, we always go in as two seperate parties, one ot book in the other to tour around.

Got this hotel on PRICELINE today - two rooms - 5/9 to 7/9 @ $92 + taxes per room per night, which I'm happy with. Advance purchase rate $183. From UK, and do US road trips each year heading out of JFK. In the past booked direct with Holiday Inn Express @ Jamaica for several years, which has been fine for us, with last years price $105 however this year its gone up to $136 per night + taxes. Followed all the Prcie.line tips, checked out that there were only four 3* in the area.
