  1. Attending a wedding on 10/7 - they've got a block of rooms at the Doubletree in Rohnert Park for $159. I'm trying to see if I can do better. Can you please help to identify this 2.5* for $135/nt? Free Parking Free Breakfast Fitness Center Pool(s) High-Speed Internet Access And then a bunch of accessability options (roll-in shower, accessible bathrom, etc)
  2. I tried $70 for Hotel Circle West with no luck, but added Point Loma and got the 2.5 star Mission Inn Old Town San Diego - 3900 Old Town Avenue. It says it has breakfast and a pool, close to Sea World and with pretty good reviews so we're quite pleased. Thanks again for your help!
  3. Driving from LA. We'd like to stay close to Sea World so that we can go to the hotel for afternoon nap and then return back afterwards. Should I just try again tomorrow and increase everything by $5 and see if we can get a nearby hotel for $70?
  4. Nope, no luck - tried exactly as you suggested. What should I try for tomorrow? Thanks again for your help.
  5. I just tried $60 for 2.5 stars in Point Loma and also for Hotel Circle - Mission Valley West, but got rejected. Any thoughts?
  6. Hi, We're looking to visit Sea World on 7/27 and it doesn't look like Hotwire is cheap enough so they suggested Priceline. Colfax suggested: 3*/2.5* Point Loma-Shelter Island-Old Town 2.5* Coastal 3*/2.5* Hotel Circle-Mission Valley West If you're interested in any of these someone can suggest a bidding strategy. We'd like to stay below $65-ish. Can someone please help suggest a bidding strategy? Ideally, the hotel would have a pool - my daughter really loves to swim. Thanks!
  7. 2 beds aren't an absolute requirement, but would be nice. Sure, I'm open to Priceline. Ideally the hotel would have a pool since my daughter would love to swim and I know that's a risk for choosing Priceline. Please let me know a bidding strategy. Thanks so much!
  8. We'll be visiting Sea World and we have stayed in Mission Valley Hotel Circle in the past, but it's too expensive this time around. Found a hotel in Shelter Island Point Loma area that doesn't look to be too far. Any ideas which hotel this is? Should I be concerned only 45% recommended? Thanks! Price - $68/night Dates - 7/25-27 Amenities Shuttle Breakfast Pool Business Center Laundry 45% recommended in Hotwire reviews
  9. Indeed, you were right. I went through your HOTWIRE link and got the Comfort Suites Mission Valley on 631 Camino Real S for $67/night for 4 adults, 2 children. $307.89 after tax for 2 rooms/2 nights - Aug 9 - 11. Includes breakfast too. Thanks!
  10. I did 4 adults/1 child ( 3 yr old who co-sleeps - no crib/cot needed). We may have 1 more adult, but I don't know yet and he said he'd sleep on the floor. Thanks!
  11. Clicked on HOTWIRE link and found $67 for a 2.5 star San Diego - Mission Valley Hotel Circle hotel - Aug. 9/11 for 2 rooms. Offers breakfast, fitness, pool and internet. Recommended in 95% of reviews with over 200+ reviews. Can you please help to ID the hotel? Thanks!
