Thanks for your help... Having looked at reviews etc I decided I would try for the W hotel in Hollywood I got it for $395 for two nights including taxes I'm very happy considering it is a weekend and 40% off rack rate so thank you for all your help! I of course used the HOTWIRE link :) :) :o :) :D

Hi there On priceline.co.uk in the regular booking system there are a two other 5* showing in that area now- don't know if the two correlate with what's avaialble on NYOP Sunset Tower 5* and Sofitel5* in the descripetion for sofitel it says: "Experience state-of-the-art amenities and unrivaled services in a modern and sophisticated atmosphere at this hotel, ideally situated on the trendy West Side, minutes from Beverly Hills and West Hollywood" so could be either of those as well

Thanks for the reply Colfax- I'm not sure about the location of the Sofitel I know it's not that far from west hollywood but I was hoping to be a bit closer. I might take my chances on PRICELINE if I can get my head round the zones-it just a case of making sure my head (and wallet) rule my heart which is set on a weho location! And of course will use the PRICELINE link and keep you posted!
