When I booked this room I thought I would get another night at the same hotel, but surprise... they assigned me this time to the one in Carson. I asked for a receipt when I left, and apparently, they only got paid $24 per night from Hotwire, so Hotwire made a decent profit off this one night stay, considering the price of the room. The next night, the same rooms were going for $55 on Hotwire because the Thanksgiving weekend period was over. 2* Atlanta (Buckhead) Extended StayAmerica Clairmont $36. This is several ZIP Codes away from Buckhead, but the location is still OK. Amenities listed were Suite, and Laundry facilities. I had tried on Priceline to get 2 and 3 star for less than $40, but nothing. Hotwire beat Priceline this time!

Bid for one night, Feb 28. Started at $34 with only LAX checked. Then added Beverly Hills and $35. Then added Brentwood and $36. Still no luck. Other people have gotten the Marriott Courtyard LAX, so I was hoping I would get that one. I don't want to end up at the Furama, but I just need a room for the night. Can I safely add any other areas of the city that are 2.5* and go to $37?
