Looking at Osoyoos, BC checking in July 29 /out Aug 1. I see a 3 star at $149 a night. Amenities are: Fitness Center, pool(s), restaurant(s), business center, laundry facilities (self serve), Hi-speed internet. It is recommended in 75% of customer reviews. I think it might be the Holiday Inn. Any other thoughts?

I just spent 7 days at Scottsdale Plaza and found it to be a very pleasant experience. The staff were polite, friendly and accomodating - and didn't make any notice of it being a Hotwire booking. I was given a nice room in an area of the hotel I requested. The lounges at both the main building, and the Remington's building were great. The prior review really sounds like a different place - and as it was more than 6 years ago, I guess that could explain things. The main pool area is great, nice BIG hot tub (not TOO hot, really, but more like a nice extra-heated pool), and a two level pool with a waterfall in the middle. I suspect that the previous reviewer visited one of the two OTHER smaller pools on the resort property. The room itself was a little dated in decor, but well maintained - if they hold out a little longer, it'll be retro-chic...and the grounds are meticoulously maintained. If you stay there, try to get a room facing in towards the pool/courtyard area if you're in the main part of the hotel - they seem nicer than the rooms facing the parking lots.

I went with The Scottsdale Plaza - as identified here...at $130.00 I actually had the time today to swing by both Scottsdale Plaza and AZ Golf Resort - and AZ Golf Resort just seemed to be a little too dated, and really golf-centered for me.

Any thoughts on this one; MESA EAST for $86 3 Star Ameneties; Resort, fitness, pool(s), restaurant(s), Business Center, laundry, hispeed internet, golf nearby - when do "see all" tennis nearby and kitchenette are added 75% recomended on hotwire, 3.5 of 5.0 tripadvisor rating. I think it may be the Arizona Golf Resort.

I am interested in this one too - I think it's the same one, except i don't get fitness center as an amenity. If I click on the links on this site to open the priceline or hotwire sites, does betterbidding get "credit" for anything I do in that window while it is open? Normally, I keep the same hotwire window open all day, after opening it from this site. Is that OK?

Since that last thread worked so well, I need more in Scottsdale. This time for 3/20 to 3/27 - searched using the links from betterbidding as always. I find; 3.5 Star in SCOTTSDALE for $135.00 Amenities; No smoking, fitness, pool(s), restaurant(s), Business Center, Laundry, hi=speed internet, tennis nearby - when do "see all" spa services are added 85% Rcommended. Thought it might be Indigo, but Indigo should be in Old Town Scottsdale. Could be Cottonwoods, but the amenities don't match up quite right. 3.5 Star in OLD TOWN SCOTTSDALE for $145.00 Ameneties; Boutique, no smoking, fitness, pool(s), restaurant(s), Business Center, hispeed internet, golf nearby - when do "see all" tennis nearby is added 60% recommended. Looks like Hotel Theodore - which seems pretty poorly reviewed/regarded. I'm trying to avoid it. 3 Star in NORTH SCOTTSDALE for $103.00 Ameneties; Fitness, pool(s), restaurant(s), business center, hi-speed internet. Nothing is added on "see all" 100% recommended. Any ideas?

Yes...got it just now. It is the Hotel Tally Ho. Unfortunately I made a typo in the first post - there is only GOLF nearby, not GOLD, so bid accordingly.

In looking for hotel on Hotwire 3/27/11 - 3/31/11 I get this in OLD TOWN SCOTTSDALE (after clicking on link from this site, of course) Scottsdale Old Town area hotel -- 4 Star Fitness, pool(s), restaurant(s), hi-speed internet, gold nearby for $143 -- 90% reccomendation At first I was hoping it would be the Doubltree Paradise Valley, or the Hilton Scottsdale Resort and Villas - but they're not Old Town. It doesn't have the "resort" designation, so it's not the Firesky. Anyone got any ideas on this one?
