I tried the code and got the screen saying the bonus cash was deposited, but there's noting in my rewards... I did have bonus cash in June, which I used already... Any thoughts?

I bid $60, with bonus cash, making my final bid per night $70... I'm happy with the deal, now I have to deal with the parking fees... :)

I should have mentioned the kids are both young. There are only 4 of us in total... I'll do some more research, I'm thinking that the best option would be to pick a hotel in the downtown DC area, and pay for the parking for the 2 days. I don't mind doing a little walking around the town. I'll read about the successes in the HOTWIRE forums for Washington DC... Thanks, DarwinX :)

You've got some good advice...I was looking for at least a 3* rating, and was hoping to do tourist-like things like the Smithsonian, and a walking tour of the Capitol Buildings. I've been reading that the Savoy Suites was a potential in the area I searched. I wouldn't mind paying a minimum parking fee, but I'm seeing that some hotels charge some pretty steep rates for valet parking. With regards to the nightly, I was hoping to bid near the $70 per night . I'm not into too much of the night-life, and will have 2 kids along for the trip... I'm open to some suggestions, as this is not a planned trip, but a quick getaway for a few days... DarwinX :)

I'm a first-timer, and I'm trying my hand for a trip, July 01~05. I would like to stay in the DC area, but was also looking for free parking to be included. I see #10 as Georgetown North, but I don't know what hotels are in this zone... Any assistance is appreciated... DarwinX :)
