Its that time again guys. need help on bidding a hotel on Priceline. This time its not in Hawaii, Vegas or Seattle, its in Montreal Canada. The areas / zones I was looking for was: Zone 1 (Convention Center - Old Montreal - Latin Quarter) & zone 3 (Downtown - City Center) The dates i was looking at were CHeck in June 7 Check out 11 I would prefer a really cheap 4* but will settle for a really cheap 3-3.5* also. my current bids are up to. 4* zone 1: $75 zone 3: $73 3.5* zone 1: $70 zone 3: $71 I'm doing doing $1 increments since i have alot of time I can bid daily. But anyone know why it not getting accepted? Also any bidding strategies for a 3* hotel in zone 1 or 3 ? Thanks In Advance!

great insight. are you local to the area? The thing about those dates is that its still tentative. I herd about the heat & humidity in Austin during that time of the year that they may move it closer to August. We wont know a final date until December 2011 if I recall when the FIA meets to confirm the dates for 2012 season.

Sorry, i got my dates totally mixed up. I need a hotel for the middle of June 2012, but the earliest i can bid is until August 2011. Yes what I would be looking at attending is F1 Grand Prix USA, at the Circuit Of Americas Facility in Austin, TX. with that said what would be a good time to bid ?

We all know why we would need a hotel for August around June 2012, but right now as of today, the dates are too far out. When the dates are available, which would be in about August, is that way to early for me to be bidding? Whats everyone's BetterBidding take on placing hotel bid MANY months in advance. Good, bad, would that mean I would get the absolute lowest price? Thanks!

really no maximum bid but would like to get it as cheap as possible.. The westin sounds fine. I will have a car and really driving in vegas is not that big of a deal.

I know betterbidding won't fail me. I'm pretty familiar with the Seattle and Honolulu areas when bidding with Priceline, but now I need help with Vegas. I was looking on staying on these days.. Thanks mate for the suggestion. Parking around the airport area is okay with me just not the crazy $40 a day parking like the downtown places charge. Does anyone have a bidding strategy for 3* in the Airport area? Thanks again!
