You bid $100 and knew there was a $136 Express, same * rating. Is that why you bid 124? B/c it is near the express amount?

I tried every which way for one night close to Disneyland. I started my bidding a few days ago at 4* Disneyland with a few re-bid areas - rejected. I tried Name Your Own Price and got as high as $150 for a 3*. Even using NYOP in the Fullerton area, I was rejected for a 3* when I started at $90. The Hotel Fullerton was going for $134 a night so I'm surprised bidding didn't work and that PRICELINE EXPRESS had it cheaper than my bidding on PRICELINE. Happy with the outcome.

The other day I started bidding at 140 and over the course of a few days, bid up to 200. If the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal was 214, I figured I wasn't too far off. Started at 210 this morning and got this hotel.

Clicked on the Priceline link. Ka'anapali - Lahaina, 4*, 10/20-10/24 Express Deals. It's $214 a night. Amenities: Free Internet Swimming Pool Pets Allowed Fitness Center Business Center Guest rating: 8+ Is this the Westin Maui Resort and Spa or could it somehow be the "Kaleialoha Condominiums"? The condo comes up when I search 4* in Ka'anapali - Lahaina, List View.

Didn't book this hotel. It is no longer coming up.

This will be my first time using Hotwire. I usually use Priceline but I do not want to stay in a condo. I'm looking at 4* hotels in Lahaina/Ka'anapali. I hear the beach is gentler in that area and I will be traveling with my daughter. Therefore, I'd like the services of a hotel available. travel dates: October 20-October 24, 2014. two adults, one 1-yr old. Under the secret Hot Rate Hotels tab, I selected a star rating of 4. In the Ka'anapali area, I see a 4* hotel for $276 a night. I clicked on the link, pretended to buy, "see more," and it shows these amenities: Resort Beachfront hotel Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Self service laundry Internet access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services Children's actvities Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower How do I find the other amenities? I thought this was the Hyatt Maui but maui.hyatt.com shows no availability for those dates. Does this matter? The Sheraton and Westin are unavailable for those dates, according to their respective websites (if that has any bearing). I used BiddingHelper.com.com and was able to pull up a 4*, Ka'anapali hotel. My backup reservation was considered a 3*, was on Lexington, went for higher and is quite far from where I wanted to be. For the nights I reserved, the Shoreham goes for $255 even with AAA. I tried the new Priceline Maps feature, check-marked the downtown 4* SF zones for this coming weekend and saw someone had won a hotel for $90. I started my bidding at $90, 4* financial district. I got rejected. It asked me to up my price by $17. I declined and added Union Square West - Nob Hill for $95. My bid was accepted. I'm looking forward to this stay!

clicked the PRICELINE link before each try. started my bidding at $70. added $10 for each rebid and priceline refused at $90 or $100. for some reason, they offered me other hotels. closed the browser and tried again, while adding zones, Google Chrome crashed. Tried over in IE, this time starting at $80. added a few zones, increased each zone by $10. they accepted at $110/night. Total Charges*: $267.54 the same nights on Vdara's website totaled: 349.28

Followed the PRICELINE link, on thereuare's signature, to start bidding and mirrored sodamanandcoffeegirl's bidding strategy since they had a similar date. I started bidding at $60 and added two non 4* areas in increments of $10. I got the Fairmont Newport Beach for $80. With taxes, it comes out to a little under $100. Not bad considering, that on the Fairmont site, the rooms, were $150 AI. ETA: Can someone fix my title? The date for this is 6/5/10-6/6/10. Thanks.
