There are some places in Miami that add a resort fee per person. Sometimes 10-12 dollars a day. I'm sure a quick call placed to Hyatt Regency and they would be happy to explain any extra charges that you might occur. (hence New Years Eve in a 2*) :) We have found that most any town that has a Fairfield, we can pick it up by bidding 27-30 dollars for a 2 star. I will not post the other Fairfields we have stayed at as they also are older bidding dates. But Canton comes to mind, Detroit DTW Airport. These are great little stay overs if you are just looking for a place to crash at night. Recently I saw that Mount Pleasant Fairfield Inn went for 40.00. Now Mount Pleasant rarely comes up on priceline for a winning bid that I know of and I would think that is a great rate for Soaring Eagle casino being near by. Cheryl

Hotel has park and fly, so we were able to shuttle to Lansing Air port from Holiday Inn. Older property but they keep it up. Nice staff.

I have been staying at Baymont Inn Canton Michigan with 25.00 bid at priceline on and off all last year. This time 25 was rejected. I had heard from an employee that they would be upping their priceline low bid. Since 25.00 was rejected, I added Plymouth area as it is near by and re-bid 30.00. It was a winning bid for Comfort Inn. This property was clean and had a nice breakfast bar included. I would try to bid for this property again.
