Thanks for the quick reply! I didn't know Hotel Georgette was on the Hotwire list - just checked its website and it looks quite nice. What confuses me is that Hotwire offers 'bed choice' - double or queen bed and the hotel website shows a choice of standard or superior rooms (both with double beds). Do you think I'll just get a superior room if I go for the 'queen bed' option? Hotel Parc Saint Severin would be my first choice but their website shows just one type of room available, so I don't think it's this one either.

After a few days The Doubletree Guest Suites appeared on Hotwire for $133/night for the same dates and I went for it since I wanted to stay in Santa Monica (I have described the amenities in another thread). Thanks.

Just to add that this hotel appears at the rate of $132 when I have entered Santa Monica, CA in the search box. When I search hotels in LA, a hotel with the same description appears, but the rate is $139. Really confusing...

It features the following amenities: Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Its Tripadvisor rating is 4.5 and the only 4* hotel with this rating in the area seems to be Hotel Palomar but the amenities do not match with the ones listed in this forum.... Just booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children 4/07-4/08 in Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa for $122 on Hotwire thanks to this forum. Amenities: Boutique Hotel, Oceanfront Fitness Center,Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-speed Internet Access, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Spa Services (spa services only appears in ' see all' details). The price immediately jumped to $135 after my booking. Many thanks!
