Prices seem to be fluctuating quite a lot so I just went ahead and booked the 4* hotel in L.A. Live - Staples Center area. It turns out to be the Westin Bonaventure Hotel. Price was $147/nt (before taxes). Just wanted to provide that feedback.
Sorry...didn't see your reply until just now. (I had selected the option to notify me of replies but hadn't seen any emails...maybe they went to my spam folder).
In any case, I think my search was for two rooms, each with one adult and one child. I'm not sure about the pricing but the amenities that I listed should be correct.
Upon further consideration, I'm thinking that maybe we'll stay in the Downtown or L.A. Live - Staples Center area. So here are the two that look interesting (search is for check-in on 2/18, check-out on 2/19, 2 rooms, total of 2 adults, 2 children):
Thanks in advance! Will check back in soon to see your response so I can finalize before prices change.
Hello -
I'm hoping to get help identifying a few hotels on Hotwire for the night of Feb 18, with additional information from your Bidding Helper (using Hotwire Easy View):
Thanks in advance! :)
Thanks so much for all of the help!
I ended up using your HOTWIRE Easy View link on BiddingHelper.com and ended-up with the W Hotel in West Beverly Hills, just as you predicted with your guess. Just so you have the info in one post, here are the details:
4*, West Beverly Hills - Century City, $231/nt, Pet friendly, Suite, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Children's activities. This ended up being the W Hotel in West Beverly Hills.
Thanks again!
Looking at these two hotels in what I think are the Westwood area for travel dates 10/26-10/29 (all info from Betterbidding Hotwire Easy View). Would appreciate any advice identifying which ones they are.
Thanks again in advance!
Thanks for the suggestion, thereuare.
Here's the additional info from the BiddingHelper.com Easy View Tab:
Also, by the way, why is there a price discrepancy between the Hotwire Easy View on Biddinghelper and the regular view on Hotwire?
Thanks again for the help!

thanks...and sorry for not including the dates. i realized after i posted that i should have included those, but then couldn't figure out how to edit my post to add that to the "additional comments" field. in any event, the dates are for check-in on 3/11, and check-out on 3/12. and also, i believe i did use one of the PRICELINE links from this website to initiate the bid, so hopefully that worked out. thanks again.
Successful on first try with bid of $75.
