  1. Thank you and I am going to experiment to see if finding the lowest price, that the pop up red warning does not occur is helpful for other bids I make on other properties I make in the future also works!
  2. Played around with the bids and bid the lowest number where I did not get a warning that I had no hope, and won the first bid. Nice hotel, close to grandad! Bid thru better bidding PRICELINE link.

  4. Tried $75, 4 stars, Downtown, hoping to get the Marriott but struck out. Added Granville, 3 stars, bid $65 and won the Best Western Plus Downtown Vancouver, at 718 Drake St, which has free wifi, bicycles, and downtown shuttle. Who needs the Marriott anyway!

  10. oops sorry, my stay was SatFeb 27th. 2010 at the Edmonton Westin, thank you
  11. Edmonton Westin Downtown. Got a nice room on the 17th Floor for $70 plus taxes on PRICELINE. I initially bid $55 and they suggested I could get a 4 star hotel for just $15 more, so I changed my bid to $70. I dont know if they would have accepted a lower amount. Our stay was good with very friendly staff, the hotel restaurant was nice for lunch and reasonable value for a hotel. If you have a slightly late lunch, they will bring you free desserts from the breakfast buffet table as they tear it down, rather than throw them out. The location is great, across from the new art gallery. There was an empty and working bar fridge you can use. The pool was relatively large and clean, the work out room has nice equipment. Parking is a bit of an issue as the hotel wants $26 a day. Evenings and Sundays are free on street, check the signs tho. Internet was 9.95.
