Your guess was right! I did not save very much, only 30 euro's. But is allways better then nothing off course. Only downside I read is that we have to call for the hotel shuttle and they only drive once an hour. And I was surprised that this hotel is in the Doral zone and I thought I choose the int airport zone.

When I look up this hotel in the Hotwire hotellist it also says suite and kitchenette. These amenities are not on bidding helper . Can it still be Morgan run resort you think? Edit: When I look at the hotelwebsite, they do not offer kitchenettes. On booking.com it is already sold out on my dates!

Tried Hotwire again this morning and Trump was still $160. Then tried express deal, there it was $ 140. Thougt why not try bidding Priceline. Tried 1 bid $101, failed. Right away priceline showed me a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal, and the Trump was $165! But I still kept the express deal from $ 140 so I continued with that one and used the 5% coupon. I was better of when I had booked the Hotwire deal from $108 2 days ago. But nobody has a crystal sphere. And am to nervous to wait any longer. So pretty pleased with my deal.

I hesitate because on Trump's website the cheapest room has 1 king bed . 2 queens are more expensive. And I want 2 queens because I am traveling with my son. In other cities it has been never a problem to get two queens. I send a mail to the hotel and it was OK. But I have never seen before that this is more expensive. Maybe this is a Las Vegas thing. I tried the same but changed the number of people to 2 adults and 1 child. Then I get the Trump again for $112. You should think 3 people do not fit in 1 king! What is your idea about this?

We are not going to NY anymore! Probably it will be Miami or Ft Lauderdale.

We ended up not booking the hotel. And that was a good decision. Our flight from Detroit to Amsterdam was not cancelled. They made us sit in the plane for 6 hours but eventually we departed. We were very glad we could leave, otherwise we were stranded in Detroit for days.

No this is not the only hotel I am looking at. We also consider suite hotels in New jersey. Do not know which one yet, it should be close to public transportation. We also consider HOTWIRE, but as far as I can see is there not such a property on Hotwire right now.

Decided not to wait if there is coming a good price on Hotwire. Also because I want a room with 1 king bed and a roll away. So I have to pay a lot extra for a roll away ( about sgd 60-80 per night) I don't think it will be cheaperon Hotwire this way. Booked a family room at the York hotel true a regular bookingsite. There was only 1 room left, so decided to take it. Thougt they say this to let you book earlier, but when I looked later on it was sold out!
