  1. Total 172.80 with tax Hotwire has two options downtown: regular downtown and greater downtown. This was in regular, not greater, downtown. Amenities Pet friendly Indoor pool(s) Smoke-free rooms Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Internet access Accessibility Accessible for hearing impaired Accessible bathroom Roll-in shower Very happy with this and with the help better bidding gave me in finding it. And of course I always go to HOTWIRE through the link from here.
  2. The 7 amenities I listed are the only ones I see for the reservation under "my account". I listed them all in one line, which makes them a little hard to read, so here they are bulleted: Business center Fitness center Internet access Pet friendly Restaurant(s) Smoke-free rooms Tennis nearby Just to confirm, I went and searched again for some random other dates, and got the exact same set of information including the number of reviews and those 7 amenities. ($371 for Wed, Oct 26 - Thu, Oct 27--just a test, didn't book)
  3. Amenities Business center Fitness center Internet access Pet friendly Restaurant(s) Smoke-free rooms Tennis nearby Accessibility Accessible for visually impaired Accessible for hearing impaired Reviews 80% guest recommended Favorite! (565 reviews) Trip Advisor 4.0 (2001+ reviews) --- Was listed as "new to hotwire" which confused me, because I know I've stayed there before, and I'd never pay full price to stay there.
  4. Amenities: Free parking Free breakfast Free Internet Pet friendly Fitness center Pool(s) Business center Self-service laundry Internet access Golf nearby It looks like the location is about the worst possible in the region defined by Hotwire, but the hotel offers a free shuttle (not listed) so that should help.
  5. Amenities: Free Internet Pet friendly Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Wheelchair accessible Booked through the HOTWIRE link here, of course. Terrific small hotel--I'd list it as boutique if it were up to me.
  6. Here's the amenity list...sorry to be slow in providing it. Free Parking, Pet friendly, Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower
  7. Amenities: sadly I didn't record them exactly, but they included the usual plus pet friendly; with that and the 4/5 rating on Trip Advisor, I thought it was the Westin, which would been better than the Sheraton, but this is fine. 90% green thumb. Booked through the HOTWIRE link here, of course.
  8. 4/5 on tripadvisor; 90% of hotwire travelers recommend Booked through the BB link of course. I would have preferred the Hilton (because you can walk instead of the shuttle) but this was something like $60 cheaper than the best deal I could sleuth out on the Hilton, so no complaints--I would have booked this even if I had been able to tell which it was. Amenties: Indoor pool(s) Airport Shuttle Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) High-Speed Internet Access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower
  9. The difference is smoke free--I hadn't caught that, but given that the Marriot wasn't available that night anyway I would have wanted to choose this anyway.
  10. Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access I thought this was going to be the Marriot downtown. This has plusses and minuses--convenient to the train station and on the waterfront; downside is the train noise, and further from BART. Booked from the HOTWIRE link on betterbidding.com, of course. By the way, the menu for posting details is a very nice new feature here!
  11. 90% recommend, 4 circles on tripAdvisor Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Laundry is the distinguishing feature that would help IDing this one versus the others on the list. It looks like a great choice in general. The only drawback is that is actually 2 miles N. of the Ctr. of downtown, but it's on the light rail line which makes it quick and easy to get downtown or anywhere else.
  12. 95% reccommended, 4.0 on Trip Advisor Amentities: Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center Looks like a great deal for a hotel, off 84 right near the NY border. It doesn't seem to be available often, but I'm glad we got it when it was! (booked through the HOTWIRE link from betterbidding, of course)
  13. amenities: Complimentary Breakfast Fitness Center Pool(s) High-Speed Internet Access (which is free, even thought hotwire doesn't tell you so) recommended in 90% of reviews We were happy with the stay--nice clean facilities, friendly staff, and right across the street from a great south-indian vegetarian buffet restaurant. Don't forget to book through better bidding's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links!
  14. Consistent with other recent discussion, this was listed as "95% of customers recommend", which seems to identify the Hilton vs. Crowne Plaza or Sheraton. Any of the three would be good options, but I was pleased to get the Hilton. When I went to book, HOTWIRE offered me a "star upgrade" to 4* at the same price--presumably to the University Place hotel, which sounded like a worse option based primarily on location. I stayed away from the 3*, presumably Comfort Suites City Center, after reading a bed-bug report on Trip Advisor. Amenities: Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Booked through the HOTWIRE links on the site, of course.
  15. Amenities: just fitness and high-speed internet, not as in the listings.
  16. Boutique No smoking high-speed internet Note that it's on the hotel list as a 4*, but was listed as a 3.5* "100% of hotwire customers recommend", so I'm not worried about the half-star demotion but it sounds like the list should be updated.
  17. Boutique Hotel Complimentary Breakfast Pool(s) Business Center Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Reviews on TripAdvisor are mixed but it was a great deal on hotwire (booked through link from here of course), and a super convenient location.
  18. (Edit: Oops, forgot to put 4* DC (Arlington) in title..sorry about that.) Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Booked through the HOTWIRE link on BB, of course. I've stayed there before--very nice.
  19. Boutique, pool, high-speed internet, spa Booked for $69, went up to $75 when I looked after booking. Same hotel booked through hotel site: $150. Previously seen on Orbitz for $99. Very happy, and I always link to PRICELINE and HOTWIRE from this site!
  20. The Hyatt certainly seems like the best deal of those options. The location is not bad--near the capitol, near Union Station, and near two metro stops. For the money you'd save you could pay for a lot of cab fares.... but I'm sure the Willard is the nicest option if you are willing to pay that much.
  21. Oh, and I see you are booking for several days--one thing you can try is to book for one night, and then if you like what you get book the rest. Worst case you have to move after one night.
  22. Here's a clue: the Omni Shoreham and the Palomar both have outdoor pools, open only seasonally. I think what you are seeing matches if they hide the pool icon for the winter. In early January, before I was registered on this board and carefully recording my amenities listings (sorry--I am doing so religiously now), I booked based on something similar and got the Shoreham, at $105. My receipt lists: Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access but I'm not sure that matches what was displayed pre-purchase, and it could be that the just recently figured out to hide the pool icon for the winter. Or maybe that means the Shoreham doesn't hide the pool icon for the winter and the Palomar does. Good luck.
  23. Will do in the future--thanks for fixing my mistake for me!
  24. Just booked the same hotel, paid $149 for 2/8 to 2/9 2010. Same amenities. $149 wasn't as good as deal as you got but I need to be close to a meeting that starts at 8 AM and that was $57 than the special conference rate at another hotel. Is it preferred that I add a confirmation like this, or that I make a new post? I of course used the HOTWIRE link from this site to book.
  25. I was hoping for the "Four Points by Sheraton BWI Airport" which is on the airport grounds, but in fact it's the "Sheraton Baltimore Washington Airport Hotel
