As I mentioned in an earlier post the Crowne Plaza Redondo has been upgraded from a 3.5* to a 4* due to a complete renovation completed February 2013. There are now two 4* hotels for Redondo beach area, the Portofino and also the Crowne Plaza. I wanted this hotel & am thrilled at the price. FYI, for the hotel list for Redondo/Hermosa Beach, Hotwire has changed the star rating from 3.5 to 4* probably due to their recent reno. So now there are 2 possible wins. Portofino's & Crowne Plaza. I will be purchasing over the next day or 2 so I will go thru betterbidding & post the result. My guess is Crowne Plaza.
