  1. Bid accepted for 3* in Palm Springs (RanchoMirage - Indian Wells - Palm Desert) for 10/5 for 2 rooms at $75, total 175.70 at the Indian Wells Resort. Bid was refused at $70. Not a great price, especially since the hotel's web site has a web special of $79/night for weekdays + tax but not Priceline fees. Went through Savingsbarn.com to Priceline.
  2. Amenities are: Complimentary breakfast pool high speed internet access tennis nearby fitness center laundry facilities golf nearby
  3. Am trying to decide whether to take the Hotwire 3* in Palm Desert - La Quinta for October 5th at $67. Do not see a 3* on the Hotwire list here, on the Priceline list it is the Indian Wells Resort. If that were the hotel, I would take it. Any thoughts? Might it be a Courtyard? Thanks
  4. I found that for Tucson Foothills, Priceline only has resort level hotels, at least for the dates I was trying to get - 1/21 to 1/24. So that did not work. I wound up getting 3.5* on Hotwire Tucson East for $57/night plus tax and fees. It was the Hilton, Tucson East which should work out fine for us.
  5. Just got this hotel for two rooms, 3 nights for $57/night, total with tax and fees is $392.95. Would not have known what I was getting without the Hotwire list on this website - 3.5* with restaurant, pool, fitness, business. Thank you! :)
  6. I am thinking the 4* is the brand new Marriott Star Pass, opening officially in Feb, late per their original schedule. Some people are staying there now. I believe they are on Hotwire for $95 for late in January. Just an educated guess.
  7. I want to stay at the Resort at Squaw Creek May 13 and 14. Does any one know which hotels are on Priceline in North Lake Tahoe - resort and/or 4*?
  8. What resorts do you usually use in North Tucson? What stars on Priceline do you request?
  9. I want to stay in Tucson 1/21 to 1/23 (2 nights) in the La Paloma/Ventana area. Has anyone had any success on Priceline in this area? I will accept just about any level hotel but want to pay about $50 - $65. Has anyone had a successful bid recently at La Paloma? Thank you
  10. I just read about this site on Cruisecritics, thank you. Bid $95 on Priceline, resort, in Fort Lauderdale (beach), which is the Marriott Harbor Beach. Got rejected, added 4* and got accepted for 2 rooms, Hyatt Pier 66, March 2nd. I am happy with that price, maybe could have gotten it lower, but I am pleased. Hope that helps.
