  1. I'm looking for a hotel for the night of 12/23.  I'm going to be in town to visit Macy's, the Christkindlmarket, dinner at the Walnut Room, and a play at the Oriental Theater.  Since this is a very centralized trip, I'm hoping to get a hotel as close to the Macy's area as I can in case the weather is horrible.  I am seeing a 4* Chicago Downtown Millennium Park for $77 the amenities include:

FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower

I'm not set on this hotel or a specific star level, so I would appreciate any advice  I haven't checked Priceline, yet.

  2. I'll be in Seattle for a convention staying at the Grand Hyatt.  I'd LOVE to stay over on Friday, Nov 18th and do some sightseeing.  The Hyatt has quoted me $250 a night.  I'd like to Hotwire a room and spend the savings at the market!  If possible, I'd like to stay within walking distance of the Grand Hyatt.  I'm seeing the following hotels.  I'd appreciate your thoughts on which properties they could be.

4* Downtown Convention Center - $147 - FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower (Is this the Hyatt at Olive 8?)

4* Downtown - Convention Center NE - Capitol Hill - $148 - FULL AMENITIES: Boutique hotel, Indoor pool(s), Smoke-free rooms, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center (Is this the Hotel Andra?)

4.5 Downtown - Pike Place, Stadiums, Financial District - $152 - Downtown - Pike Place, Stadiums, Financial District - FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services ( Do you think this is the Hotel 1000?)

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

  3. I'm looking for a hotel the night of 5/4 at LaGuardia.  I won't be checking in until midnight, so I really don't care about the amenities.  I see the following hotel as "new to Hotwire" for $100.  Do you have any idea what it might be?  This looks like the Hampton Inn, but that wouldn't be new to Hotwire, would it?

FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Airport shuttle, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Business center, Internet access, Tennis nearby

  4. Hello!!  I'm trying to ID 3 Hotels in the Loop - Theater District for 4/6.  I'm going to a concert in the Loop, so I'm not worried about active nightlife.  I'm seeing the following 3 choices on Hotwire using the BetterBidding Helper.

4 star  - $142 Chicago Loop – Theater District - FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Spa services, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower - (I think this might be the Allegro? - 85% rec)

4 star - $159 Chicago Loop - Theater District - FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower - (Showing as new to Hotwire with 90% rec)

  5. I'm looking at a 3.5* Ft. Lauderdale International Airport.  I used BiddingHelper.com.com and it has the following ammenities: Airport shuttle, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower.  The rate is $130.

I thought it was the Cambria, but the fact that Hotwire is "still collecting reviews" has me thrown off.  What is your best guess?  I just need a room with airport shuttle for 1 night, so the cheaper the better.

    THANKS!!

  6. I received a targeted offer for $20 off a hotel purchase over $100 from Hotwire today.  I will be going to see a show at the Oriental Theater on 12/4.  I was thinking using the Loop/Theater District, because I'm also planning on shopping at dining at Macy's Walnut Room and would prefer not to freeze to death!  Can you help me ID what hotels are offered?  I'll be coming into Union Station, and I'll be heading out first thing Saturday am.

4 star - Chicago Loop - Theater District for $104 85% recommended - ammenities include pet friendly, boutique, fitness center, restaurants, business center, internet access, spa services, accessible bathroom and roll in shower.

3.5 star - Chicago Loop - Theater District for $124 90% recommended - free internet, indoor pools, fitness center, pools, restaurant. - Is this the Hyatt Place?

Please feel free to make ANY suggestions.  Your opinion is APPRECIATED!!

  7. I'm looking for some ID assistance on a stay from 7/24-7/26.  I'm seeing a Priceline Express Deal for a 4 star in the Millennium Park , Loop, and Grant Park Area for $144 (7+ rating).  The only amenities it lists is Pets Allowed and Restaurant which has me kind of confused.  Any ideas?  We're going to a game at Wrigley, so I think I can Red Line from anywhere in the zone pretty quickly. I received a 10% coupon code from Priceline, so I'm hoping it's a decent deal.  I'll use the link to book!!  Thanks again!!

  8. I waited out hoping for a better deal.  I decided to go with a Priceline Express Deal that I saw pop up today.  It was listed as a 4 star 9+ recommended with just a restaurant and and pets allowed.  I was able to "upgrade" to get a 2 double bed room for $173.  The original Express Deal was for $162 for one bed.  The hotel I got was the Hotel Burnham.  As always, thanks for the help!!

  9. I think that the location of The James would work!!  THANK YOU for the tip!!  When looking for the James, I also see a 4 star Magnificant Mile Area that is showing $1 cheaper than The James.  Its amenities are Boutique, Business Center, Fitness Center, Internet Access, Restaurants, Smoke-free Rooms, Accessible fo rthe Visually Impaired, Accessible Path of Travel and In-room Accessibility.  It's recommended at 90%.  I'm just wondering if this hotel would be closer to the theater.

  10. I'm taking my mother to a show at the Oriental Theater on 6/12/2015.  I'm looking at both Hotwire and Priceline for the best option.  My mom is 70, so I don't want to walk a ton after the show.  I'm seeing a rooom for $185 (Loop Theater District) - Boutique, Fitness Center, Business Center, Internet Access, Pet Friendly, Restaurant, and Spa - 85% Recommendation.  I think that could be the Hotel Allegro?  I've stayed there before, and I thought it was just ok.  Alternatively, I found another for $197 (Downtown) - Free internet, Business Center, Fitness Center, Restaurant, Smoke Free that is 95% recommended.  I think that could be the Hyatt?  Any ideas you have or other options you'd consider would be great!!!  Does that seem a little high for June, or is it just me?
