It's not the LaSalle as they are closed. They shut down at the end of last May 2004. They had gotten a new owner and they were going to be renovating it. I'm in NO each week so I walked past it. Brown paper on the inside of the glass entry door. There was a phone number listed for emergencies. I called them asked when the renovations would be done and they said middle of 2005. So you don't have to worry about getting this place.

It was this past Thursday. Jan 06,2005. Something they did at Checkin was to tell me about a safe in the room that I would have to pay a daily access charge for whether I wanted it or not. $1.80. He suggested that I use it since they were going to charge me for it anyway. Pretty easy to walk to Bourbon from this location. Room was fairly clean. 2 DBL beds but one had a big dip in it. Most if not all of the rooms have a door with outside access. You still have to go through the lobby or garage to get to the stairs but if I walk out my room there is a railing and you either are looking outside to the parking lot or at the pool depending on what side you get.
