  1. Absolutely agree with your comment on Royal Meridien. It's been a long time since we've seen any winning bids at Meridien hotels anyway (incl. TAB). Maybe they no longer cooperate with Priceline? It would be a pity just because of the Hamburg Royal Meridien.

  6. Sorry if this hat been asked before: For dates 7/17 till 7/19 Hotwire has a 5* for 380/night, while I can easily identify Venetian on EasyClicck ("Venezia Bella Suites Available") where Standard Luxury 1 King Suite goes for $183.95. If this would qualify for DTD Venetian would be nearly free on Hotwire. What's the expert opinions on this issue? Thanks, Jule

  8. Bid this for a colleague on a business stopover from LAS to DC. She wanted something nice at the airport. Lowest Westin rate was $225, so no lowballing. 9. I think the GN comes up with the resort and casino icon too - at least it was the casino at GN were I lost most of my money :)
  10. You cannot go wrong with either 4* West (Marriott) or 4* East (Meridien) bids. The Marriott is a 3min walk, the Meridien a 3 min walk and 3 tram stops from the fair (or a 15min walk). I would not recommend the Airport zone. To get an impression on rates you could check your dates at hrs.de.
  11. Marriott is in the West zone of Frankfurt, just some steps from the Frankfurt fairground. Le Meridien Parkhotel is the one in the East zone.

  22. Con Expo 3/14-19; held once every 3 years. 300 000 + visitors Good luck - or postpone your trip if possible. Gold Coast for $500/night? You should get that room comped for $2500 coin in on Video Poker...
