  1. after reading a post last night just posted by another user. I agree that it should be Manchester Grand Hyatt. that user's post has tennis nearby and golf nearby too! wish I had bought it at $85... Thanks for doing this site. it's great help! will post after I bid or purchase on hotwire. thank you!!
  2. just checked now and the price is up to $94. 2 adult/2kids 8/26-31 it was $118 then $85 now $94 Thanks!!
  3. Can you please help me identify this hotel?? I cant find any hotels listed on your site with "golf nearby" "tennis nearby".... 95% recommended it was listed $118 last night and now it's only $85. please help. Thanks so much! 4* Gaslamp Quarter - Convention Center area Hotel ◾Pet friendly ◾Pool(s) ◾Restaurant(s) ◾Business Center ◾Internet access ◾Golf Nearby ◾Tennis Nearby ◾Spa Services ◾Accessible for the blind ◾Accessible for the deaf ◾Accessible path of travel ◾In-room accessibility ◾Wheelchair accessible ◾Accessible bathroom ◾Handicapped parking ◾Roll-in shower
  4. Started bidding at $61 for 3* at YVR airport. added a 2* zone to get free rebid at $66. offered $78 for instant win. but I didn't take it. so I went back and added another 2* zone to get 1 more free rebid at $70 and won. thanks. it will be Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $70.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 2 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $140.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $31.08 (USD) Total Charged to Card: $171.08 (USD) (All prices are in US dollars)
  5. I have $20 in priceline reward. so for 3 nights stay, they gave me $6.67 for each night. I started bidding in Strip North 5* at $60+free cash 6.67 rejected. then rezone and bidded $64, $67 and finally added Strip South 5* and won at $68+6.67 = around $75
  6. just FYI: called them just now to see if can get 2 queens but no luck. upgrade to 2 queen beds room will be $20. past few years i had been using priceline and always got 2 queen beds everytime. but this summer, we had been out of luck. few weeks ago at Red Lion at north Idaho, they only give us 1 bed too. i know there's a risk. but seems like it might be the case these days?? or maybe because these are small towns and hotels are smaller with less rooms. All the other ones I won were at big towns and 4* hotels... never had problem getting 2 queens before. oh well.
  7. Tried to get Woodland, WA (guessing it's Quality Inn - newly renovated and seems like it's the only hotel available there) tried $41, $46, $50, didn't win. added Kelso, Wa and was going to try 3* (probably Red Lion. only 3* hotel there) but it's greyed out?? probably nothing available for that night. So i had to try 2* and won on first try $42.00 Taxes & Fees: $12.17 Total Charged to Card: $54.17
  8. bidded many times by adding zones and changing from 4 star to 3.5 to 3. Started from downtown, added convention and many others. finally at the end, i added airport and got $60+$5 free cash = $65 probably can get this for lower price but I have bidded too many times tonight and was getting a bit tired =P I was hoping to get just 3 star at convention center for around $50 based on all the winnings from before... Taxes & Fees: $15.97 Total Charged to Card: $75.97
  9. Tried 3 stars at Coeur D'Alene for few nights up to 75 and didn't win. After looking at winnings and hotwire 3 stars and priceline express deal 2.5 stars. I kinda figured it has to be Red Lion Templin. I was about to buy priceline express deal 2.5 stars for $64, but it jumped to $78 after I clicked buy. So I was about to buy hotwire for $69 per night, but I gave priceline one more try at 2.5 stars and bidded $56 and won on first try. thanks
  10. Tried few nights ago and bidded up to $70 with many rezone free bids and didn't win anything. Was about to try splitting up the dates and finally won tonight $65 for all 8 nights at Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld. If I didn't win at $70, I was going to split up the dates. Very happy with it. Thank you for all your help "Admin". Self parking is $16/day. Kids going to be so happy to see the pools. Pictures look great. Hope it won't be too cold to swim when we go in Dec.
  11. Thank you for all your help. Started with 12/4-12/12 - LBV resort and added Main Gate didn't win. rezone and added 4* and rezone and bidded $65 and won Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld. Very happy that it worked tonight. I was bidding up to $70 few nights ago and didn't win anything. My next move was to split up the dates if didn't win. THANK YOU!! $65 Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld, self parking $16/night. how do i add this to the winning calendar? and noticed the winning calendar doesn't show the "area" and only the * and price. I think including the "area" is more helpful so we don't have to click on each one to see which location was... THANKS again!
  12. According to the hotwire hotel list, I am guessing it's: 4* Crowne Plaza Universal (previously 3.5*) Customer Favorite Amenities: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry (can be same as Doubletree at Entrance to Universal) =========== 4* Bonnet Creek Resort Amenities: Condo, Resort, 1BR, Kitchen, Free Parking, Laundry, Childrens Activities, Fitness, Pool, Front Desk, Golf Lake Buena Vista - Downtown Disney area condo $77 4* Amenities: Condo, Resort, Fully-equipped Kitchen, Free Parking, Washer and Dryer in Room ======
  13. Thank you for your tips! I will try to bid with your split up dates. Maybe try to separate the weekend or look up the winning bids and see if hotel's full on certain dates on Expedia etc... Do you have any guess on what these hotels are from hotwire? Please help. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Lake Buena Vista - Downtown Disney area condo $77 4* Amenities: Condo, Resort, Fully-equipped Kitchen, Free Parking, Washer and Dryer in Room ------------ SeaWorld - I-drive South area condo $81.00 4* Amenities: Condo, Resort, 1 Bedroom Suite, Smoke Free Rooms, Free ParkingSee all amenities Recommended: In 85% of Hotwire customer reviews. ------------ Universal Orlando - I-drive North area hotel 4* $74.00 Amenities: Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Laundry Facilities (self-service)See all amenities Recommended: In 90% of Hotwire customer reviews. -------------- SeaWorld - I-drive South area hotel 4* $98.00 Amenities: Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business CenterSee all amenities Recommended: In 90% of Hotwire customer
  14. Hi, admin or does anyone have the same problem when you try to bid for a longer stay? is it common not to be able to win any room for 7+ days stay? please advise. thank you so much...
  15. Hi, I have read all the winning posts for Nov and Dec in Orlando area and many won Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress from $62-70 or Seaworld 4* Renaissance resort for $65, 4* Westin $70, 4* Rosen Shingle Creek for $48 and $51. I tried up to $70 using rezone on Orlando East, Kissimmee, Winter Park, Maitland - Altamonte Springs, West Disney Area, Ocoee - Orlando West, Downtown Disney - Lake Buena Vista, Sea World - Intl. Drive - Convention Center... Not able to win any room for resort or 4*. Would it help to split up the dates to shorter stay like 4 nights each instead of all 8 nights? Thanks for your advice.
  16. I always check this site before bidding on priceline. Used your PRICELINE link and bidded for a 3.5* Orange County (Disneyland-Orange-Garden Grove) for Nov 9-13. Won Doubletree Anaheim - $50 + parking fee Last year, I won a room at Crown Plaza by disney for about $40 + parking The night before I won this 3.5* room. I bidded up to about $75 on 4* room in area by Disney and didn't win any rooms. Thank you!
  17. Oh I forgot to mention, I was just trying to bid 3.5* for North Coastal zone near Legoland and ran out of zones for free rebid, so I added 4* Coastal zone. When I won the bid, the message said that priceline had UPGRADED my bid to 4*. Not too sure what it meant but I am happy with the price and hotel. Maybe I did get a 4* for the price of 3.5*?? Had been trying to bid for couple days and I wasn't winning any 4* hotel at San Diego area up to $76. Anyway, just want to share this with everyone. Hope it's helpful. Thanks.
  18. I will post the winning bids again on separate post tomorrow. here's my other winnings. just won a minute ago. started with 3.5* North County Coastal and added 4* Coastal and won at $62 after 8 bids by rezone. THANK YOU! 19. Used your PRICELINE link and did my homework and won 2 nights at Crowne Plaza Resort Anaheim 12021 Harbor Blvd Garden Grove, CA 92840 714-867-5555 Check-In: Wednesday, December 2, 2009-04:00 PM Check-Out: Friday, December 4, 2009-12:00 PM Started my bid at $36, they counter offer me to add $10/night. i didn't. I added new zone and bidded. $38, rezone and won at $39 They offered me to extend my stay at the same hotel. I took the offer and added 1 more night but I didn't get it. Thanks!! Will try to bid 4 nights at San Diego now.
  20. Thanks for the info. I don't really have an area that I really want to stay at. I was trying to bid on a nicer hotel that's close to Legoland, Sea World etc. We will have 2 little kids with us on this trip and I might consider booking 2 nights at Anaheim so I can take them to disney for a day and then stay at San Diego for 4 nights... I will try to bid again tonight on PRICELINE or book with HOTWIRE. I will update once I booked / won something. Just hoping to win a nicer hotel with pool in case kids want to swim a little. Hopefully it won't be too cold first week of Dec in SD.... Maybe breaking up the dates will help winning hotel room on PRICELINE instead of booking all 6 night at 1 area? Thanks again.
  21. Hi, I have been reading all the winning bids on San Diego area 4* hotels. I saw winnings bid from $65 to about $75 on recent winning bids. I have tried to bid the last 2 nights from $65 to $76 but failed. I have added new zone each time and finally used up all the zones and still not winning anything. trying to book for 12/2/09-12/8. Do you think it's because it's a longer stay so I couldnt win anything? or do you know if there's any big event going on during that time? Any advice's appreciated. Thanks
