  1. Just booked this using the HOTWIRE link provided here. Hotel: The Grand At Trafalgar Square Club Quarters Hotel rate per night - Hotwire hot Rate: $129.00 Nights: 2 Rooms: 1 Subtotal: $258.00 Tax recovery charges and fees: $55.46 Total price: $313.46 It was listed as a 4* in Westminster with fitness center and high speed internet. Thanks to this site I got exactly what I wanted!
  2. I would love to get the Intercontinental Park Lane for around to $150 for 5/7/10-16/7/10. Anybody have any tips on how I should do the bidding to help make this happen?
  3. 4* London (Bloomsbury-Marble Arch) for May 7-May17, 2010 showing $103. Any ideas?
  4. I would love to get this hotel for closer to $150 for 5/7/10-16/7/10. Anybody have any tips on how I should do the bidding to help make this happen?
  5. Just bid $60 for a 4* downtown Montreal hotel for a one night stay Dec 19. The bid was accepted for the Hyatt Regency. I hope it is decent.
  6. just pulled the trigger on this and did indeed get the Hilton -Gaslamp Quatrer, 401 K street. The price hotwire was offering today had changed to $96 So, to confirm... Hotwire offering $96 4* San Diego, Gaslamp - Convention Centre hotel for stay between Dec 4-10 with the amenities listed in my original post turned out to be the Hilton - Gaslamp Quarter, 401 K street.
  7. I'm mainly worried about the 2 month advance booking (i.e booking now for December 4-10). 2 months gives the hotel lots of time to sell out their rooms. If they are near capacity they might be tempted to bump someone who booked thru hotwire in favour of someone who will pay full price?? Do you think there is any logic to this or am I just being paranoid?
  8. I am considering using HOTWIRE to book a hotel for Dec 4th thru Dec 10th 2009 in San Diego. Hotwire is offering a 4* in the Gaslamp Quater - Convention Center with fitness center, pool, restaurant, buisness center, hi speed internet and tennis nearby for $94.00. Judging from previous posts I am hoping this is the Hilton??? Any thoughts?? Anybody forsee any problems with booking 2 months in advance using HOTWIRE? My previous use of hotwire has always been for no more than 1 week in advance. And most posts i've seen have been about bookings in the 1 to 2 week range. Also, could there be any problems with booking a 7 night stay with HOTWIRE? Again, in the past i've only booked 1 or 2 nights... and most posts i see are also only involving 1 or 2 nights. Thanks for any help
