  1. 48 bucks plus fees is a steal for this--This property is exactly what a Hampton Inn is supposed to be---great place to stay.
  2. Used rebidding from 45 to 52 on 3 stars. Eventually got this for 55 bidding on 3 stars.
  3. Tried bidding 3 stars up to 55 in several area zones and rejected. tried 40 and 45 in the 2.5 range and rejected---but got a very nice deal on this best western for 48 bucks. not bad at all for a 118 a night room!
  4. Decent deal! Bid at 45 failed, rebid at 50 accepted.
  5. bid 40-48 two days ago for a bunch of zones in the area. Got 50 for the aloft today on my first try only selecting sterling-ashburn. A good price for a fun hotel.
  6. Hotel is Sheraton Herndon Dulles Airport Hotel. The field kept changing it to Sheraton Reston which I think is different. 60 bucks for a room going for 150 direct is making is great. I clicked on the PRICELINE link before beginning my search.
  7. Got 40 on the first try. Next time I need to try 35 or 38 and rebid. Good deal.
  8. Hi, That makes sense. I didn't realize occupancy rates changed so much. That would explain why the "feel" of bidding has changed. This is the first time I've gone below three star in a long time. Thanks for providing a great service.
  9. Started bidding at 40, and used rebids. I received an offer for 51, and rebid at 48. I'm not getting much of a discount these days and find myself just booking direct. What's going on with Priceline NYOP? I used to get 3 stars for 40. Is it just the season or is Priceline just not a great deal anymore? 37% discount isn't impressing me :(.
  10. Tried at 51 and failed---got an offer for 62--rebid at 55. Woohoo :). It's a pretty basic hotel in all regards. Few staff, limited restaurant, and limited bar. However, the people who do work there are top notch and the place is clean. Please revise my error and change to 3 star. Thanks.
  11. Considering the rates in the region are running high for the night, I was very thrilled to get a 300 dollar room for a total of $94 including fees and taxes!
  12. Direct price is 162, so even though it's not a great hotel I'm not complaining since the rates are so high. Last minute job interview--again this website has saved me quite a few bucks :) I did click on the PRICELINE link on the homepage.
  13. I bid up to 70 last week and got nothing. Decided to wait until today, and got it at my first try for 50. I used the PRICELINE link and happy to have saved off the $200 a night direct rate :)
  14. failed at 65...got it for $70. Whole area was running high, and was worried about how much I'd have to spend for my job interview down there. Thank goodness for priceline bidding and this site. If anybody has any info on the public parking lot...if it really is close and cheaper than 15 a day... any info would be appreciated!
  15. I actually just got back from that hotel (booked direct). Don't mind my contribution in case Annapolis is new to you...It is quite nice. Even though it's the farthest out of the downtown hotels, Annapolis is small enough that it is still a fine walk to the downtown and even docks if you enjoy walking. On top of that, the city's free trolley stops right in front of the hotel, and the hotel has a free shuttle of it's own. I'd say the slightly "not downtown" location is well worth the cheap 5 dollar a day parking fee and a newer hotel. Enjoy your stay! I fell in love with that city and actually hope to work there.
  16. I won my $40 bid on my first try. I should have tried 35 first, but thrilled as always. Great job with the site changes, as it's now so easy to post wins! Happy Holidays to all.
  17. Sorry for the lateness. I first tried $40, and then used a rebid zone for $45. Rooms are a little basic and scuffed for 4 stars, but can't complain. Nice hotel....just don't drink the awful coffee. I used the PRICELINE link, and thanks again for your help.
  18. First, I bid 40. I added Malvern (willing to be there too) and was rejected at 45. Then, I added another zone as a rebid while keeping it at 3 stars, and won this for 50. I suppose that is an acceptable deal for what seems like a rather beat up but not awful property.
