Hey Gang: Got a very nice hotel and deal. 3 stars, listed at boutique hotel, free parking, free wifi, lovely bar and restaurant. Holiday Inn Alexandria/Carlyle. Starbucks across the street. The AMC Hoffmann movie theater is in that complex as well as a few nice restaurants. The only caveat is it is about 2 miles from the Old Town Alexandria waterfront. We walked it everyday and enjoyed it. The hotel offers free shuttle service from 8a-8p! In short, I recommend this hotel as an inexpensive alternative. I would stay there again anytime.

Hey Gang: Just got the Holiday Inn for $49 at Hotwire Ontario Airport West October 12, 2009. Amenities are Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant and Internet. I was hoping to get Ayres Suite, but no luck this time. I'll post reviews on how it is later. thanks!

Hey Gang: Help me identify this Long Beach Hotel...3.5 stars; $76 per night. Amenities include exercise room, pool, restaurant, business center, internet. Staying 10/6-7 before a trip to Catalina. oops...forgot to mention this is on HOTWIRE! Thanks! Jp
