  1. Caesars Palace would be my best guess But wait for one of the guru's to confirm this before proceeding
  2. The 5 star best guess is the Vdara The 4 star best guess is either the MGM Grand or the Paris Have an open mind for both but to be more likely the MGM But wait for the guru's to confirm this before proceeding
  3. Best guesses, yes the Vdara for the south strip, for the north strip that will be the Trump, the bellagio has not been reported as being on HOTWIRE.
  4. It depends on whether there is something like a convention on a time time, prices are always linked to demand, as for being able to decide which hotel it is or not, based on the 4 Trip advisor rating, it is not the Palomar as that is 4.5 TA rating, the Parc 55, Grand Hyatt or Westin Market street all have a TA rating of 4, the lack of a spa icon may lead me away from the Westin, but it just might not be showing, but between the Parc 55 and Grand Hyatt I would be unable to distiguish. Sorry I can be no further help, I am not a local, far from it I am in the UK, I just go to San Francisco quite a bit to watch baseball lol
  5. The intercontinental is a 4.5 star hotel in USE, I cant see the hotel for $169, only one for $174 with the same amenities which could be either the Grand Hyatt or the Parc 55 as a guess, but wait for the guru's to answer before proceeding with anything.
  6. The 5 * best guess would be the Venetian or Palazzo The 4 * best guess would be T.I (Treasure Island) The Wynn is still a 5* But that is only my guess, wait for the guru's to confirm anything before proceeding.
  7. Best guess for this would be the Intercontinental, but wait for the guru's to confirm this before purchasing.
  8. This only has a trip advisor rating of 4, which would lead me to guess it is the Hyatt Regency, but wait for one of the guru's here to confirm that.
  9. My guess would be The Holiday Inn Fishermans Wharf
  10. If you go into the selection and click on see all by the amenities, it will show Spa as well if it is the one showing at the moment, my guess for this hotel would be The Riviera, but wait for one of the mods to confirm this before proceeding as I am not one of the experts just a long time lurker and looker
  11. My best guess would be the Sheraton Fishermans wharf, but I would wait to see what the guru's say but I think I am correct in what I have guessed.
  12. Ahh I stand corrected Aaron to your superior knowledge mate, thanx
  13. Or the 4* ESB could be 70 Park avenue, i got that hotel for the same price on HOTWIRE earlier this year
  14. Double Tree Metropolitan in the MTE zone is showing as a 3 1/2 star again
  15. How do you become a Hotwire express member? I have used HOTWIRE a couple of times i.e made purchases through there.
  16. As Above won this evening via priceline. 18th June till 20th June Of course as always used the better bidding PRICELINE link
  17. Though I am no expert, I would agree with you on your assumption for both hotels
  18. Am not worried but a little cautious in a way, not because of the hotel, as the 1st thing I noticed was it is a Kimpton, and have stayed in their hotels before in San Francisco, and it was great, it is just as it is not a hotel I have been to before and a zone I have not stayed in, I am a little anxious, but not worried, but It does not seem to come up to often, so i suppose that is a good thing.
  19. Won the hotel mentioned on the dates via Hotwire Of course used the better bidding HOTWIRE link to bid!!! $163 per night. Amenities Boutique Smoke Free Resteraunt Fitness Internet Not sure what the place is like, seems ok on trip advisor, I spose independence day knocks the price up a fair bit
  20. Good Kimpton hotel aswell, Know as I have stayed there in the past, enjoy the free wine tasting!
  21. Personally I would go for the 4.5 Intercontinental, dont know the USW hotels, but the Mark Hopkins is out of the way a little on Nob Hill, and I have seen mixed reviews on it.
  22. I think a strong possibility is The Hyatt at fishermans wharf, only because in June of this year myself abnd my wife stayed here and that was booked via hotwire before I found this site. The Hyatt is nice and friendly and will do you well if it is there.
  23. Hi new to the board, have stayed at the Tuscan Inn in the past and thought I would add my thoughts. The Tuscan is a very nice hotel to stay in, the free wine receptions in the evening at 5pm i think they were are good, I am from the UK and spent 10 days at the tuscan in 2008 and found it very pleasent, My future trips unfortunatley are not going to happen until 2011, but iI am using this forum to gain ideas for NYC and San Francisco. Now that I have found this site I will certainly be using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to Book But to conclude the Tuscan is a good hotel, I have stayed at the Hyatt on FW also this year in fact which was also a good hotel.
