Yes. It is definitely rated 3 star by HOTWIRE. However, it is clearly not 3 star. I'd give it 2.5. The housekeeping and maintenance departments are not the most timely.

Just purchased Embassy Suites La Jolla - 3 nights for Labor Day Weekend on HOTWIRE for $134 per night. Could have gotten $109 for just Sunday night. Listed as 3 1/2 Stars in the La Jolla Area Icons showed: Suite, Smoke Free Rooms, Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Laundry Facilities, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Kitchenette The Suite and Complimentary Breakfast pretty much narrowed it to The Embassy Suites and The Residence Inn.
