Started bidding at $45. Upped bid a few dollars every day. When I got to $55 I was counteroffered $68 which I ignored. Next bid of $58 was accepted.

Can someone please help ID this hotel? Amenities: Near Beach, Smoke Free Rooms, Complimentary Breakfast, Laundry Facilities

I was bidding for a 3* in the Palo Alto area. I tried Palo Alto first, then added Redwood City, Cupertino, then Sunnyvale-Santa Clara for the win.

I was bidding on a midsize car on Priceline for a few days without success. I decided to go over to Hotwire to see what they had and I found this deal which I booked from Dec 18-25.

I got this hotel on the first bid for $37. That final price of $42 includes $5 Priceline Bonus Bucks.

Priceline users should be aware that on occasion a hotel will charge you for your stay even if you booked it on Priceline. In other words when you get your credit card statement you will have a Priceline charge and another charge by the hotel which is usually slightly less (which I assume is due to the Priceline commission). I have used Priceline regularly over the past 3-4 years and this has happened to me twice. 2-3 years ago it happened to me at a Courtyard hotel in the medical center area of Birmingham. Most recently it happened at a Residence Inn in the Medical Center area of Houston. Both are Marriott properties although they may not be the only ones guilty of doing this. The charges in both cases were reversed by the offending hotel, but it turned into a major hassle this last time when I stayed in Houston. So...watch your credit card statement for a duplicate charge by the hotel. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I booked the 3* Four Points in Indianapolis (Keystone/Carmel) for $39 a night from May 11-15. Tried at $37 last night and got a counter-offer which I always refuse.

I got the Marriott Courtyard in Destin for $105 from Apr 8-10.

I got the Marriott North (IAH Airport) for $50 on my first bid for one night Apr 3.

Just booked the Residence Inn Medical Center/Reliant Park in Houston for Apr 1-3. $125 a night.

I got the New Orleans Hilton Riverside for $60 for one night March 24th.

I got the 2 1/2* Fairfield Inn Greensburg Indiana for $37 a night from Jan 21-24. I started bidding at $35 yesterday but was unsuccessful.

I got the Marriott Convention Center New Orleans for $50. One night 12-28. Tried to bid on 4* downtown, then added French Quarter, then convention center. Then dropped to 3.5* with the same three areas and got the Marriott.

I got the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown New Orleans for one night Dec 4 for $55 on my first bid.

I got the 3* Holiday Inn Express ABQ (airport zone) for $50 for Oct 12th.

I would bid lower than $55. I got it on my first bid.

I want to bid on a 3* hotel in the Albuquerque Airport zone for Oct 12th. What other zones can I bid that will give me another try without waiting 24 hours to bid again? I don't want to stay anywhere except the Airport zone and want a 3* hotel.

The dates are Oct 7-Oct 9 but the hotel is no longer listed.
