  1. Updated amenities list: Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Sorry for the incompleteness before. Admins, feel free to edit my OP accordingly. Thanks!
  2. Amenities: Fitness Center, Business Center, Smoke Free Rooms, Restaurant(s), Pool(s) Tax recovery charges & fees: $21.45 Subtotal: $98.45 Used the HOTWIRE links here to book the room. Thanks!
  3. I found a 3* hotel in Knoxville West with the following amenities: Free Parking, Pool(s), Business Center. It's $73 for the night of May 4. It doesn't match anything on the list. Any ideas? Thanks!
  4. Amenities: Boutique Hotel, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Spa Services Booked through BB HOTWIRE search form
  5. Need help ID'ing a Knoxville West hotel that's listed for $82 on 8/11/11. 3*, only amenities are breakfast and high-speed. Thanks!
  6. Mostly business, but I plan to do some other stuff. I'm comfortable with the L and can use it to get around.
  7. Just a couple of weeks ago I did a search on Hotwire for Chicago Loop-area hotels for 8/25-8/28 and got a handful of choices. Tonight I did the same search and came up with only one, apparently the Crowne Plaza, which is not within walking distance of John Marshall Law School. Chicago experts, should I broaden my search beyond just the Loop? Should I have jumped on the Hotel Burnham a couple of weeks ago when I had the chance?
  8. Breakfast, fitness, pool, business, laundry Booked through this site's HOTWIRE link. :)
  9. Amenities listed: breakfast, fitness, pool, business, laundry I'm hoping it's the Best Western Cedar Bluff, which I got for $59 back in November 2010, but the amenities list doesn't track exactly with anything that's in the hotel list for Knoxville West. However, it does accurately describe what that hotel actually has on site. EDIT: Argh - had to pull the trigger. It was Country Inn & Suites. I'll make a separate post.
  10. If that IS the Sheraton Music City, $55 is a great deal. I've been in that hotel (not overnight), and it's very nice.
  11. Yeah, I didn't feel confident enough about getting Hotel Indigo through Hotwire, so I decided to roll the dice on Priceline. Thanks! I love this site. :)
  12. Just booked this one through Priceline (via the links here). Never stayed there before - fingers crossed.
  13. In looking back over other posts where the Ambassador East has come up, I've never seen "Boutique" in the amenities list. Would you consider the AE a Boutique hotel?
  14. Is there an amenities list for this property? Does Priceline do that?
  15. I'm looking at a Hotwire listing for a 3.5* at NMA/Water Tower/Gold Coast for $90. Amenities are: Boutique, fitness, dining, business center, high-speed and golf. I'm wondering if this is the Hotel Indigo; the last time I booked it, it also had tennis and spa in the amenities listing. The rate is roughly the same as before. Any hints? Thanks! :)
  16. Amenities listed as of Nov. 5, when I booked: pool, business. They appear to have adjusted their amenities list - in the hotel list, they have Complimentary Breakfast, Pool, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry.
  17. Thanks! The rate I got at the Indigo was about $50 cheaper than what I'd been paying at the CQ, which was reserved for the conference I'm attending. I think my strategy next time will be to book the CQ as a backup (since I can cancel without penalty) and then hit HOTWIRE near the last minute to try to get a deal on the Indigo. It's only a few Red Line stops from the annual conference site. I love this site. :)
  18. 3.5* NMA Hotel Indigo $95 10/1 - 10/2/10 Boutique/Fitness/Restaurant/Business Center/High Speed/Golf/Tennis/Spa It is almost 1 a.m., and I just booked this for (later) tonight, because this FREAKING Club Quarters on Adams Street where I'm staying has decided that everyone would like their room temp at 85 degrees. I am hoping that Hotel Indigo still allows guests to control their own thermostats. Used the Better Bidding HOTWIRE search box - thanks!
  19. I got the Hilton Garden Inn on Broad St. in Chattanooga for $152 through Expedia. All the travel sites had it for about the same price. I wish I'd known there were affiliate links from here - sorry!
  20. Thanks. I was afraid of the Choo-Choo, so I decided not to pull the trigger on it. I ended up getting a hotel I knew I'd like from a different source. Thanks again!
  21. Shuttle, fitness, pool, restaurant, business center, internet I thought this might be the Sheraton Read House, but if so it's lost a star and the golf amenity. Thanks!
  22. Booked today two rooms at the Atlanta Hilton for $79 each. One night, April 27, 2010. Amenities: Fitness, swimming, restaurant, business center. Used Hotwire's link (is that why the price was $3 higher per room than when I searched without going through the link?). Tracey
  23. Totally failed to check that list. :/ It's gotten stellar reviews, though, so I'm looking forward to a nice stay. The Indigo in Chicago was pretty nice.
