This hotel was not listed on the pinned list. Is currently the only 4* without a Pool Amenities: Restaurant Fitness High-Speed Internet Business Nice that Hotwire has a specific Gaslamp area vs. Priceline which only has downtown plus Harbor Island

Amenities: Boutique Restaurant Spa I was told that this is a very nice European style hotel. We shall see.

Villa Florence is very nice. I have stayed there many times and has one of my favorite SF restaurants on the ground floor - Kulettos. Enjoy!

A snag. The room I requested from EasyClickTravel was "On Request" and is not available. Back to the drawing board. I do not see any rooms on EasyClickTravel that are marked available. Any bright ideas? Can I see go back to PriceLine's counter-offer?

I had never tried EasyClickTravel. Another great travel site. You're reverse look-up is awesome, although in my haste I did not read your complete message and also found it very easy to match up hotels with the "off the record" by taking a few words from the description and pasting into google. I have requested a room at the Hampton Inn & Suites for $89 which is an official conference hotel with shuttle service and is offcially "sold out". I have to wait for a confirmed reservation. A back-up plan is another conference hotel - Hyatt Regency - for $120. Thanks for the help! Hotwire had a 3* for $74 with breakfast, pool, exercise and laundry.

Trying to get a 3* near the convention center. There is a very large conference and rooms are scarce. I bid $100 on priceline after being rejected at lower levels Priceline offered to give me a room for $122 if I was willing to increase my bid to that. I have not experiened that before. I am considering this, but I really do not want to pay this much for the Doubletree if that is the 3* available. The hotels showing up on Hotwire (3*) do not seem to match any of the ones on the lists. Any good ideas?

This was a challenge. My first choice was to be in the Northwest as both 4* hotels were near my destination. I started at $65 - rejected Added re-bid zone - $67 - rejected Added re-bid zone - $70 - rejected Added re-bid zone - $75 - rejected Added re-bid zone - $80 - rejected Added re-bid zone - $85 - rejected Added zone Medical Center - also close by - rejected Added West zone - close, but not so close and lowered bid to $70 as a last ditch attempt before waiting by time to re-bid. Success!

Confirmed: 4.5* Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Amenities (9): Resort, Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, Spa Services, Children's Activity Program, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Business Center As I was not completely sure of the property I booked one night first at $235 and then booked the next two nights at $240. The dates are 2/6-2/9 The rate is high $236. I am attending a conference at the Sheraton Wild Horse Ranch and the Sheraton rate is $400, so $236 does not seem too bad if this is the same property. I thought that both the rate and the rating would likely be too high for the San Marcos. I noticed that the Sheraton was listed with the vacation package listings, but with slightly different amenities - no business center.
