  1. Just won the 4 star Le Meridien for $100 ($123 after taxes). Started at Fishermans Wharf at $65- rejected, added SOMA at $66-rejected, added Fiancial District,Embarcadero for $67-rejected, then added Union Sqaure at $100. Never changed any star ratings. Came back with a page that said they were still working on it and to come back and check my status after 15 mins. Won the above.
  2. First time ever bidding on PRICELINE airfare. I tried about 20 times total. In the end, I got tired and they offered me a pretty good deal so I took it. $339 for each ticket (including taxes) with a layover (1 hour) between flights. I am VERY happy with this. I saved about $115 on each ticket as well. I used the priceline airfare link to book.
  3. I bid for my cousin for 2 rooms. Started at $45 for a 3* in Folsom. Rejected. Re-bid $48 and added 2.5*. Accepted $48 at the 3* Courtyard Marriott in Folsom.
  4. I literally booked this last minute (as in the same day past check in time) on our recent trip to San Diego after not liking our current accommodations. I bid on a 4* in San Diego (coastal) at $65. I was rejected but given a "special opportunity" (per priceline) to pay $90. Because I was at Starbucks bidding, booking it for that day I didn't want to take a chance of getting rejected and having to wait 24 hours. So I agreed to $90 and got the 4* Hilton Resort and Spa. I was worried after the reviews I had seen, but was VERY pleased with the hotel. Although I could have done without the $25 a day parking fee.
  5. Didnt realize I had this thread still open. We decided not to book.

  9. Won the Hyatt 4* for $57 (on first shot), plus $15.80 tax for a total of $72.80. I won the same hotel a few weeks back for $55, so I know there is no free parking (its $18) and no free breakfast. Good enough for one night stay. If anybody cares, rooms have a mini-refig (good for kids), shuttle, pool, spa, & workout room. Oh and a sports bar.
  10. Got the Hyatt SFO at $55. First try was 4* at $51 for Airport SFO area- denied. Added South San Fran at $55. Accepted.
  11. Thank you for responding. I have opted to book at a different hotel directly.
