  1. Number of occupants may change the search results. Example: Orlando - MCO airport area - 12-26-04 1 night. If I enter 1 adult and 1 child or 2 adults, I get 3.5* $50 (matching Marriott), but if I enter 2 adults and 2 children, 3.5* $70 (matching Embassy Suites) is returned.
  2. 3.5* Orlando - MCO - Embassy Suites $70.00 + taxes/fees = $84.95 10-15-04 1 night suite, shuttle, restuarant, pool, fitness, complimentary breakfast, kitchenette
  3. I did see a winning bid for the JW Marriott on 'that other board'
  4. I've noticed this and have been wondering about it. As noted, a 1-night stay for 7-25-04 shows a 3.5* with Rest, Pool, fitness, and business for $56 but does not have the usual Customer Favorite comment. But, if you check a 1-night stay for 10-23-04, it shows the usual Crowne Plaza icons (3.5* with rest, pool, fitness, and business) for $66 and has the Customer Favorite comment. I've been wondering if the one without the Customer Favorite comment is actually a different hotel. Please let us know if you find out! Thanks!
  5. I have a reservation via priceline at the Renaissance Orlando Sea World for mid August. I received a call from priceline and also an e-mail. The pool will be unavailable from 6-29 through 8-23 at this property. They will offer shuttle service to their sister resorts - Residence Inn Sea World and JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes - to use their pool facilities. I have 48 hours to decide if I want to keep the reservation or cancel it. I've stayed at the Residence Inn and their pool is fine. The pool at JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes also has a lazy river according to their website. If anyone has stayed at this property, please let me know your thoughts on the pool area. I'll bet this is the reason the property has been downgraded to a 4* instead of a resort.
  6. I have a winning bid for October and I checked the Congratulations screen as you requested. It does, indeed, now show the Renaissance Orlando Sea World as a 4 star hotel. :)
  7. My guess is the poster is looking to get one of the onsite Universal hotels (Hard Rock, Royal Pacific or Portofino Bay).
  8. Thanks for the information! I have been looking to get an inexpensive all-in-one printer. I am happy with my current EPSON, so was looking to replace with another. My printer is backordered but should be delivered next week. Can't beat the final price!!! :)
  9. Hotel was okay; not as good as Marriott or Renaissance in same area. pros: Friendly staff Nice atrium Reasonably priced room service 24 hour complimentary airport shuttle service which arrived at airport very promptly after our call and was on time going back to airport cons: No in-room safe (front desk has safety deposit boxes) Not the cleanest A bit musty smelling Very noisy - our room overlooked atrium and bar area and was very noisy due to a wedding reception, but it did quiet down after midnight. I'm sure this is not always a problem.
  10. You are good and a mind reader too! It dawned on me last night that it also had the Customer Favorite notation, so I was signing to add that to my post. Yes, it is the Airport zone and was noted as a Customer Favorite.
  11. From the Hotwire hotel thread: 3.5* Crowne Plaza Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Business (unconfirmed but believed accurate) Consider this confirmed - perfect match. :) $61 +tax/fees for 3-19-04 - one night.
