1. Started bidding at $90. There was a Priceline express available for $119. Used my free re bids and ended up at $110 per night. Great stay, again a small upgrade at check in through spg gold. Thanks again for this site.
2. Booked for 2 rooms. Was during an insanely busy comic con style event being held at the hotel. Line to check in was out the door. Stated at $90 and worked up at $3 increments. thankfully spg gold member so bypassed the line and was upgraded to a club room. All in all excellent stay. I was on the road while booking 99% sure I used the PRICELINE link but reception was in and out while driving. Thanks again for this website. Very useful as always.
3. Thanks to this website I was 90% sure it was going to be the Godfrey before bidding and it was. Very happy with this rate and this hotel. Winning rate was for 2 rooms Amenities: Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Internet access, Spa services, Smoke Free Rooms, As always used your links to book and search. There was bed choice of King bed for the winning bid or 2 beds for $115 per night.
4. Sharing this unexpected win. I was fairly sure it would be the doubletree but was pleasantly surprised to get this very well rated hotel. Bid from $55 up to $80 in $5 increments over 2 days before I got the win. Used your PRICELINE links of course. Hope this helps others.
5. A bit earlier then I usually like to bid but thought I would try given the current 7% off promo. First Bid was at $110 a night rejected with no counter offer. Added first rebid zone and increased to $120. Won the venetian. Very happy with this price especially given it contains a friday night stay and is at one of my favorite hotels in Vegas. As always used your PRICELINE link for searching and booking. Thanks again for the great site.
6. Amenitied include, free internet, pet friendly, fitness centre, pool, restaurant, business centre, accessible for blind accessible for deaf high speed internet, roll in shower, handicapped parking, accesible bathroom. Thanks to this site I was sure it was the Solamar before I booked. Very happy with the win and as always used your links. Thanks again guys
7. Amenities list. Free Internet, Fitness Center, Pet Friendly, Smoke Free, High Speed Internet. I had been looking on HOTWIRE and bidding on PRICELINE for the last 2 weeks with no luck and then this deal came up. I was fairly sure it was the Roosevelt after using this site and was glad to get it. A little more then others have reported winning it for but it was for a full Mon- Fri week stay so I expected this to be the case. The retail price was up around $209 a night. Just a comment, I love the new layout of the site well done guys makes it a lot more user friendly when searching for hotel zones to see matching amenities. I of course used your HOTWIRE links.
8. This win was for 2 rooms. I started bidding at $85 and was counteroffered at $110. Tried first rebid at $90 - declined. 2nd rebid at $95 - declined counteroffered at $120!! Third rebid at $101 was accepted I have never stayed at the Wynn but have always been impressed with it so this should be a very good option. I started searched and bidding using the PRICELINE link. Hope this helps others
9. On the bright side if you check out Restaurant.com there is about 9 restaurants at Mandalay bay that offer discounts so you should save some good money on your food bill. I know betterbidding has a link somewhere and Restaurant.com is currently offering 60% off. I hope this helps offset the dissappointment of getting the wrong hotel
10. Just wanted to follow this one up. I have found an excellent rate for what I believe to be the Dupont Hotel through lastminutetravel.com of $87 a night for my travel dates Before I book it does this site have a referral link I can use?
11. I have been bidding on these dates for the past week. Started at $100 bidding MTE. MTW and Times Square. Finally got accepted at $137 (which was a GBP 90 bid). The bid before this which was rejected was $131 so the sweet spot might be in between $131 and $137. The best rate on the sheraton website was $223.20 so I am pretty happy. I hope this helps others.
12. Hi I hope you can help me ID this hotel. Stay 23/7 - 27/7 $109 per night Amenities show Boutique Hotel / Fitness Center / Restaurant(s) / High-speed Internet Access Interestingly tripadvisor rating is 4.5/5 My feeling is this might be a match for The George Hotel which has previously been reported as a 3.5 star. Any thoughts?
13. Hi All Thanks for this awesome site. I started bidding at $87, was counter-offered for an additional $20. I added fishermans wharf and upped the offer to $91. Got the Hyatt Regency San Francisco which I am quite happy with. Best rate from Hyatt was $177 Hope this helps others
14. I am looking at dates in July with the same amenities. If you remember could you tell me the % recommended and how many reviews. The hotel I am looking at has 90% and 300+ reviews. Would help me out greatly
15. After reading over the posts here and seeing that the Hilton was offered at Hotwire for $135 I thought I would try and get it cheaper via Priceline. Bid $122 and was counter offerd $136. I added the Mestre area and bid $126 and was accepted. Very happy with this win for this time of year (peak season in Europe) Hope it helps others out. Thanks for this excellent forum I used your PRICELINE link.
