Hoped to get Venetian or Palazzo, but $95 is not a bad for Wynn.

First, I bid for 4* hotels up to $70 in 'Downtown San Diego & Harbor Island' and 'San Diego Coastal', but didn't get a deal.

Then bid for 3.5* hotel up to $65 in 'Downtown San Diego & Harbor Island' and 'San Diego Coastal', but didn't get a deal.

Then bid for 3* hotel up to $55 in 'Downtown San Diego & Harbor Island' and 'San Diego Coastal', but didn't get a deal.

Then added 'Del Mar - Rancho Santa Fe' (with 3* hotel), then bid at $55, 57, 59 - got a deal at $59.

After it accepted my bid, I got a message saying "We’ve upgraded your hotel quality level to a 3

Although it forecasts to be raining on Wednesday (22nd), I think it's a bargain considering the hotel and time of the season in Palm Springs.

Initially I selected the following three areas and added areas those do not have 3.5* for each time.

-Del Mar - Rancho Santa Fe

-Downtown San Diego & Harbor Island

-San Diego Coastal

FYI, I tried 4* hotels in (Downtown San Diego & Harbor Island) and (San Diego Coastal) for the same period of time up to $95, but was not successful.

I saw the posting for the same hotel for $105 on next day, so happy with the result.

There was not a Golf icon with this property.

I double-checked that the things I listed above are everything.

initially, i searched for a hotel for 2 adults. I had $58 for 3.5* in Palm Spring area for the same amenities below (I believe it was also Hyatt).

then I added one child which gave me a suite with $11 more, so i took it.

it was totally worth it. the room was on the top floor with nice view and it was a huge suite.

I waited until the last day to see if I can get a better deal (I booked it at 9:00am on 11/20). But it doesn't seem to help that much. Maybe I should have waited a bit more (I will try next time).

Yes, I did start at $80 then $85 and got it at $90. I was able to bid three times by playing with zone selection. You have a nice stay there too!

Thanks to betterbidding, I knew exactly how much I should/want to spend on these type of resort before I bid.

I had to bid 3 rooms together at the same time for one night, which may cause ending up a bit higher price than other's bid.

I saw a posting for the same resort, 1 room & 2 nights (the same weekend) for $80.

But happy with this price (although there will be additional $25 resort fee for each room). :)
