Total was $195.98 after taxes and fees. A bit disappointed in the results. The wife and I were looking for a resort style staycation with activities and this turned out to be a hotel with not much other than gym and pool. Also, parking is a ludicrous at $33 for valet. No self-parking option at all. I would understand if this were NYC or San Francisco, but this is Phoenix in the middle of the summer (where no out-of-towner would dare venture)! Can't win them all unfortunately.

Interestingly, this property was listed under the "Las Vegas Convention Center" area based on recent previous posts. Just thought I'd like to point that out for anyone who may be looking at the same place.
Tried PRICELINE at first for 3.5* and $53 a night (about $180/night after taxes and fees), but was rejected. Ended up getting this for $201 all-in. Very happy considering the only other hotels for a similar price near the strip are your typical 1 and 2 star hotel chains. Also, the strip is only a short 10-15 walk away! Listed amenities are:

As always, used the PRICELINE link from the betterbidding website.
Bid of $14 accepted for the dates of 8/27/15 to 8/20/15. First bid of $13 rejected 2 days ago. Total price including taxes and fees is $71.34. Grr, stupid me. I didn't check HOTWIRE first because it was more expensive the other day. Now, it's $58.96 after taxes and fees for the same dates!
I just want to give everyone a heads up that if you book this property through Priceline, parking will NOT be free. The receptionist said that it "wasn't part of the Priceline package." (whatever that means) It's an absurd $20/day for parking in the SUBURBS. There is free street parking, however, across the busy intersection next to the McDonalds.
On the first day of bidding, I tried for a 4* for $44, 3.5* for $42, 3* for $40, and 2.5* for $38. Then, I went up in increments of $2 for each star level over the next few days until I finally hit 3.5* for $50. Pretty pleased with my results. Hope my trip doesn't get affected by all the Ferguson unrest! Anyway, used the Priceline link as always.
A little late for this posting, considering I had gone on this trip a month ago. Anyway, I won this after a few other failed bids. Wish I remembered the exact prices that I bid! As always, used the Priceline link.
Hotwire Express Deals had a 3 star hotel (which I assume was this hotel) for $49, so I put my first bid in at $45. It got accepted, which probably meant I could have gotten it for cheaper. However, this booking is pretty last minute so I'm still very happy nonetheless - especially considering that the reviews for this hotel is very good. As always, used the Priceline link from this website.
Won first bid at $52. Probably could have gotten lower, but pleased nonetheless considering comparable hotels in the area were going for at least $30 more.
First bid of $35 rejected. Second bid of $42 accepted. $62.90 after taxes and fees. Not bad considering free indoor parking in the city (albeit very limited). As always, used the PRICELINE link
First bid of $35 was rejected. Re-bid of $45 was accepted. Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $45.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 3 Room Subtotal: $135.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $24.00 (USD) Total Room Cost: $159.00 (USD) Not bad considering hotels.com quotes $65/nt for total of $215.22 after taxes and fees. Used the site's PRICELINE link to begin travel purchase.
I booked the following with HOTWIRE Intercontinental Hotel in Budapest, Hungary for $49 before taxes. Amenities include: Fitness center Business center High speed internet access Spa services The hotel was honestly really a 4 star level (as listed in PRICELINE) despite the 5 star rating given by HOTWIRE. However, a great hotel for its price at a great location! :)
