  2. Ramada Galloway for $82 total AAA price. Ii want to be basically within 15-20 min drive. I know the boardwalk hotels are$$$ and I prefer not to spend that. Looking for under $100. All the reviews I'm seeing are mostly negative so I can't expect much.
  3. Thanks for the response! Yeah, I don't think too many hotels are getting a good rap in Atlantic City area, outside of the top tier of 4stars. So what to do what to do...I figure that this Hotwire one would be better than one that i have an rsvp for at slightly lower cost and also likely poorly reviewed.
  4. Any ideas what this might be? 2.5-star Hotel in Absecon - Whitehorse Pike - Galloway --- $75 Sat 9/15 This Hotel features the following amenities: Indoor Pool(s), Fitness, Pool, Business Center , High-Speed Internet Access,Tennis Nearby, Free Parking, Free Breakfast , Free Internet Thanks in advance!
  5. The amenities are: 3*, CONDO, 2 BEDROOM SUITE, FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN, SMOKE FREE ROOMS, FREE PARKING, IN-ROOM LAUNDRY, FITNESS CENTER, POOL(S), FRONT DESK, LAUNDRY FACILITIES, TENNIS NEARBY. After purchased, was notified of one-time $50 cleaning fee (lovely).
  6. Weighing all the pros and cons and trying to find what was most comfortable for 3 adults who don't want to share a bed if they don't have to... Were leaning to one of the condo/1BR choices...upon researching the reviews and such, I came across Expedia having blind offerings VERY SIMILAR to Hotwire. Are they working together with Hotwire possibly? I clicked on the link there and it gave me a list that was so similar to Hotwire, but a tad more, but pretty much idential listings...except one listed a 2BR condo for $68 which is really what we wanted. So thinking it might be one on your list possibly, I booked and it came up BEACHTREE VILLAS. The reviews seem kind and it really will be most comfortable for 3 adults persons. The only downside is the resort fee. Thanks for you help "thereyouare", it was indeed most helpful.
  7. No worry..haven't made the choice yet. Trying to weigh the pros and cons of the choices.
  8. Thank you! I was hoping for Mona Lisa Suites or whatever it is called now. I will get back here a little later with what I end up with. Busy mornings at work. Thanks again!

  11. Bidding only for 4star hotels, I started with $45 and increased with free bid to $48...Accepted Sept 23 for 2 nights Offer Price: avg. per room, per night $48.00 (plus $5 bonus per night/room) Rooms: 3 Nights: 2 Travel Insurance: $30.00 Room Subtotal: $318.00 Taxes & Fees: $58.56 Total Charged to Card: $376.56 Hotel turned out to be decent for the most part. Rooms were clean, do not look closely under the mattress cover..don't say I didn't warn you. Every room has a balcony. The staff service was excellent! The restaurant however was a bust for breakfast. Awful service and out of your basic bagels at 8am. GREAT location across from Perimeter Mall, very easy to walk to.
  12. Ah now I understand...I kept thinking you meant Orlando in your prior posting "thereyouare". Sorry about that!!! I clearly was confused. So dumb. :) For Atlanta, I decided to bid on Priceline since I received a $8/night bonus email. I thought I posted that here. I will post on the Priceline section now. Ended up with 4* Atlanta Perimeter Hotel & Suites at $48 a night (plus $5 bonus). I didn't expect alot from the hotel, so based on that, we all enjoyed it...including 2 80yr old couples that were traveling with me. Granted it's a bit worn on the edges, but the service was great.
  13. I would really really appreciate your help with this. 10/20-23 3 nights, 3 adults $71 LAKE BUENA VISTA area 3 1/2 * Resort, Suite, Smoke-free, Fitness, Pool, Bus Center, Laundry, High-Speed Internet, Golf Nearby "still gathering reviews" also in DISNEY MAIN GATE/CELEBRATION area 10/20-23 3 nights, 3 adults $60 3 1/2* Condo, Resort, 1 BR, Kitchen, Free Parking, A/C, laundry, kids activity, pool Thanks! Marc
  14. Hi I was looking for assistance identifying the hotel.
  15. Sorry location is DISNEY MAINGATE - CELEBRATION.
  16. Hi, looking for help on this one. October 20 for 3 nights. 3* priced at $28 includes: BED CHOICE, SMOKEFREE, FITNESS, POOL, BUSINESS, LAUNDRY, HIGHSPEED. Any idea? Thanks! Marc
  17. Just wondering..how was the hotel? Thinking of bidding there or hotwireing there. Thanks!
  18. 9/22-9/25 Atlanta Perimeter choices: 2 rooms (3 adults) 4* ($56) - "Bed choice", fitness, pool, restaurant, high speed. 70% recommended 3 1/2* ($65) - non smoking, fitness, pool, restaurant, high speed. 80% recommended 3* ($54) - fitness, pool, business, laundry, high speed. Was hoping a "suite" hotel would be listed at 3 1/2 or 4* - hoping for Embassy Suites because of a brunch we have to attend that weekend there. At this point, I would probably opt for 4* due to price and quality. Any ideas what these could be? Also wondering whether since I am still over 2 months away, that I should hold off and see what else prevails? Thanks! Mak
  19. Two curious questions, one of which probably has been asked many times. I'm looking at Atlanta-Perimeter for 9/22-25. It looks like i have a 4* and 3 1/2* option of likely Crowne Plaza, or W Hotel, or another one I'm failing to recall (Westin?). Can Crowne Plaza show up as an option for both 4* and 3 1/2* And, 2nd question...how far in advance would a hotel opt to list on Hotwire? I was hoping a "suite" hotel would be listed being either Embassy Suites (would be perfect) or Hilton Suites. Thanks for your time!
  20. Hi...pull the trigger yet? I'm curious also.
  21. Will you be adding this to the list of hotels on the Priceline list? There seems to be a Crowne Plaza listed at 4* and noted previously as a 3.5 *. I'd hate to win this based on the reviewer's experience.
