  2. Hotel Rate per night: $89.00 Nights: 1 Rooms: 1 Tax recovery charges & fees: $18.40 Subtotal: $107.40 Amenities Resort Free Parking Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Golf Nearby Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower I knew it was the JW Marriott instead of the Red Rock because there was not a resort fee. There is an optional resort fee ($25) here if you want to use the spa and get 2 free bottles of water each day (big whoop). Its a nice place...except for the VERY smoky casino. We will not be heading there anyway. I verified beforehand that I DO NOT have to walk through the casino to get to my room or the pool. It is unacceptable for us since we are traveling with a pregnant wife and a 2 year old. Very excited for the stay!
  3. Looks to be a match for the Cosmopolitan. That is a very cheap price! Have heard nothing but good things about that hotel.
  4. Started bidding at $56 and used free rebids by adding the following zones (Fullerton, Disneyland North, Laguna Beach, Anaheim Hills, etc) and upped my bid by $2 each time (over three days of bidding) until I won at $82. Taxes on the purchase were $54.68. There is a $16 self-parking fee ($22 valet) and a $5 per person per day shuttle to Disneyland. However, the quality of this 4 star hotel is very nice. I knew the win would probably be the Anaheim Marriott of the Hyatt Regency. This reservation will accommodate us nicely. FYI- For those looking for hotels around this time in Anaheim, the 3 and 3.5 star hotels around Disneyland are tought to pinpoint of either Hotwire or Priceline. We are somewhat picky on hotels so this will be great. We had one other refundable reservation at a 3-star hotel a little closer to Disneyland for $119 a night plus tax. This saves us a bunch of cash in a nicer hotel.
  5. Using promotion code ONLFALL on wynn's reservation website, their 35% off pre-paid room rate for Wynn is $168...not bad for a weekend. Good luck!
  6. Bid on priceline for minivan for the following time: May 9 to May 15 Started at $10 and increased bid by $2 each day until bid accepted at $32 per day (plus taxes). High rate but beat lowest hotwire rate by $40 and lowest straight rate by $100.
  7. What things are better about Encore? I am planning another trip in August and am curious. The pool at Wynn is much better in my opinion and I don't like the room divider in Encore rooms.
  8. Bid $90, then $95, and finally accepted at $100. Looks like this is the price point for the Wynn. I am VERY happy. I think this is the best 5 star on the strip.
  9. FYI for those reading this thread... There is currently a promotion at travelzoo.com for this hotel. For $79 a night, it INCLUDES parking AND breakfast (up to 2 adults per room, kids are free) in the cost. Considering that the hotel is about a 15 minute walk away from disneyland and gets decent tripadvisor reviews, I believe that the hotel special may outweigh the priceline blind bidding option. Just a heads up...I believe the promo is good through June 7.
  10. Colorado Springs Marriott $80 per night ($17 in taxes per night) Check in: August 15 Check out: August 17 Used PRICELINE link and got first bid of $80. Very pleased with this hotel! Thank you BETTERBIDDING!
  11. Scored this GREAT hotel on HOTWIRE by backchecking ammenities on hotwire with hotwire hotels list on betterbidding. Ammenities listed were: Smoke Free Rooms Pool Complimentary Breakfast Business Center Fitness Center High Speed Intenet I am very happy with the win! Use the HOTWIRE link to start your bidding!
  12. I read the other posts about this hotel and bid $45 my first bid and won. However, I tried to extend my stay by changing my check in date to May 11. However, the hotel is sold out on their own website as well as on Expedia, Hotels.com and others. There must me a big convention that day. Anyway just a heads up if you want this hotel on the night of May 11. With that being said, I am very happy with this hotel although they do charge $10 for parking. Used the PRICELINE link to start my bidding. Total with taxes came to around $59. (I also scored the Hyatt Place Denver-South/Park Meadows from HOTWIRE. See my hotwire hotel win in the HOTWIRE forum if you want a very nice hotel for the same price as the Hyatt Tech Center but want free breakfast and free parking!)
  13. What do you mean by "added the 'parks' one by one"? Do you mean that you added areas and raised your bid price at the same time? I would love to get this hotel for our anniversary. Very good hotel with great reviews. THanks
  14. First Bid of $39 accepted. Perhaps you could go lower. Was hoping for Regal Sun Resort as it was closer to my convention at the Lake Buena Vista Palace and Spa. However, still a great deal and a NAME BRAND hotel. Thanks for the great work betterbidding.com! Holiday Inn Sunspree Check in: Mar. 24 Check out: Mar. 26 Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $39.00 Subtotal: $78.00 Taxes & Fees: $18.00 Total Charges: $96.00
  15. Bid $47 first and was not accepted. Added airport north as an area and bid $50 and was accepted. Very cheap for a Marriott hotel and especially nice for a quick stayover in ATL waiting for a flight the next morning. Used PRICELINE link to book the hotel. Thanks betterbidding! I will post a review after my stay.
  16. $51 winning bid $65.14 Total with taxes Check in: July 31 Check out: August 1 I have read that others who have booked on Priceline have been automatically ungraded to a tower room. I will post my experience after the stay. Great price for Little America or for any hotel downtown for that matter!
  17. $59 plus tax through PRICELINE Great rate for weekend in clean, non-casino hotel. 05/09-05/10
