I went with hotwire and got the raddison hotel harbor view for 75$ a night 3*. Amenites: shuttle, restaurant, pool, fitness, internet, business center. I tried PL once more for 65$ a night and added 3* and old town as well, but was denied. Thanks for the help.

Tonight I bid 50$ Downtown San Diego 2.5* for Sept 30-Oct 2 on PL -- denied Then 60$ at 2* -- denied again I don't really want to go much over $60 and I would like to stay downtown or close to it, any suggestions on strategy. Perhaps add a zone nearby?
