I bid $80 for a 4* in Eiffel tower and was denied, Priceline counter-offered $110. so I bid $85 and added the free bidding zone (which the other area had zero 4*s). Priceline again denied me and counter-offered $110. I got impatient since I need the hotel in 1 week so I bid $75 for a 3* in the Eiffel tower area. Priceline waited about 10 minutes before they gave me an answer, Yes I got it. however, It is actually about a 30 minute walk to the Eiffel tower. Tripadvisor ratings are high at 4/5. I would have paid $253 plus using other websites for the same room. Des Provinces Hotel, Paris is $169 also. using kayak.com as my search engine I realized that I could have got this place. Tripadvisor ratings are 3.5/5, so I am happy with my choice. Today 7/10/08 I got denied on priceline for West of Strip for $36. I got denied on Priceline for North and south strip for $80. I realized that I should have bid earlier than today since the strip hotel prices went up, BUT this hotel price still stayed low since it is a bit off da strip. $100 denied on 6/3 for a 4 star north and south strip. $47 denied on 6/3 for a 3 star north and south strip. $50 denied on 6/13 for a 3 star north and south strip. $80 denied on 7/1 for a 4 star north and south stripper. But in da better bidding forum shuttle is listed and the BB forum lists this hotel as a 3*, but they do indeed have a shuttle listed one on their website. I think dat da hotel offers 2.5* for the courtyard rooms and 3* for da deluxe tower rooms. No 3* near Strip west hotels are listed today though. I found a hotel 2 1/2 stars in med center, nw, airport area and I got denied at $50. so I added downtown (usually more expensive area) as an option and got accepted @ $55. I saw someone else got this hotel for $40 previously; however, I guess that my choice a busy weekend.
